For nearly a century, an illustration of a Native American woman with a feather in her hair has adorned the packaging of Land OLakes cheese and butter products. But not for much longer.
The company, founded in 1921 by a group of Minnesota dairy farmers, is phasing in a new design ahead of its 100th anniversary. Instead of the depiction of the woman, some products will be labeled Farmer-Owned and feature an illustration of a field and lake, or photographs of its farmers, the company announced.

When I buy butter, I look for the Indian ... don’t even read the names. If I don’t see the Indian, then I’ll pick the next one I see, and it probably won’t be land of lakes. Amazing how people who are supposedly “good” at business totally screw up. You come up with a world-wide recognized logo and ditch it? Just plain stupid.
How do I get one of those with Land o Flakes on it?

The goal is a dull, lifeless, uninspired people with no history, be it “good” or “bad”. Relentlessly, the goal is being reached. Such an odd goal... I thought we were supposed to “celebrate” diversity....
I saw her yesterday at the store, but she was on sale and less than the store brand. Needed to move her out.
I have reservations about this.
The left who now owns scouting, wont abide this.
Someone has too much time on their hands, down boy
Remember those horrid MAZOLA TV advertisements from 1976-1980.
“You call it corm, we call it maize.”
You are not alone. Even if you use only “KEY” words. I’ve even been suspended for: “Reason-—Learn to search”. LOL! Just sharing.
I beg to differ.
The *best* American butter is Cabot’s. Yeah Vermont.
Generic butter is often terrible. No flavor.
Go American. Go VERMONT.
Kate’s Butter from Maine, is also great.
That’s why they have decided to make PA’s own treasure Dr Rachel Levine their new cover “girl”. Fixed it!
No longer will you be able to cut up the box, fold it in such away so that her knees look like her boobs. (I had a lot of spare time in my youth.)
