New York City retracted 145 deaths previously reported, on April 15, to have taken place in Brooklyn and Manhattann [source] [source]

More than half of the U.S. Deaths are NYC region.
Then add Detroit and it’s in the 60% range.
A more apt combination is New York and New Jersey, since nearly all the NJ deaths are in the northern region surrounding ... you guessed it ... new york city. If you do that, you get 19,624 deaths out of a total of 34,475. In other words, 57% of all deaths in the USA from this are in the NYC metro area.
So far.
More testing will ALWAYS produce more cases. They're creating numbers. Starting to look like the same folks that "magnify" climate change numbers.

Throw in Louisiana and LA California for even more distortion re response to actual serious disease.
Thanks

Yes. Add CT because it is also in that tri-state area.
Really there are:
NY, NJ, CT
MI
LA
MA
That account for a huge percentage.
And it is not statewide but localized to dense urban regions.
We need to make more stringent rules for them and let other places open.
We live in the first place to have had deaths in the country, eastern King County WA. Things dropped off dramatically here three weeks ago. Our hospitals were not overwhelmed. This was masked by increasing numbers in Seattle and the rest of the state. But if things follow the pattern that they did here... there should be rapid improvement soon.
Washington was number 1 in new cases all through March. Now we are not even in the top 30 despite one of the highest testing rates per 1000 residents in the country.
You say so far limited specific urban areas have the majority of deaths, but it’s in fact becoming greater and greater a disparity.
It’s the opposite of so far. All areas started about equal a month ago.
The trend is clear.
Democrats own it..
“Starting to look like the same folks that “magnify” climate change numbers”
Climate change is a hoax. Covid19 is real. But you must be in a cabin in Montana so I can understand if don’t give a damn.
I have no doubt that it’s real...And I have a son in NYC. But adding on 4000 deaths on a whim??
99.2% of the Italy "corona virus deaths" are not from the virus. The same number of people are dying annually there now as every year, and from the same causes. Here in the US, using the phony CDC rules, the fake virus death figures in the US are a similar tiny %. Dying WITH a virus versus FROM a virus are two vastly different things. This whole virus hysteria has fewer facts than the Global Warming hoax.

We now have data that should start removing such pessimism...relax and take a breath...and maybe a nice walk...weather’s been beautiful on the MS Gulf coast and this is the time of year when we get some pretty days all over the nation.
