Restaurant business model is broke. Has to be take out only. The idiots in DC should have never given money to an industry with a broken business model. Each recipient of fed funds has to demonstrate how they will function in this new environment. A partially aerosolized virus means no community eating is possible.
It felt like I was being baited but I didn’t respond. They posted to me a few times then posted to someone else about me a few times.
Oh well. I think I’ll just do one general update per day.

They are stuck between a rock and a hard place. A huge debt load that must be serviced and a biowarfare weapon on the loose. Now if our government was not corrupt and not in debt, we could have been sitting on a few trillion in surplus. Thus, pay everyone to take a sabbatical, while our business models and facilities get updated. Or even use the surplus to pay every debt possible.

I’m not as engaged lately, because I’ve been adjusting to teleworking and House projects that sat idle before this big mess. I’m assuming others are in a similar situation and maybe in the acceptance phase.
This site has had too much infusion of posters who are only here to rage, bait you into an argument and for nothing than the fake name they hide behind and their freak egos. Many don’t even donate, they’re simple freelaoders. But don’t let them get to you. Recognize their set-ups disguised as questions and ignore them, otherwise, they’ll drag you down
Great example...the one who is a self claimed pimp. The name should tell us all we need to know. But this poster starts threads where differing views are forbidden, yet comes on these threads to do the EXACT thing he claims to prohibit. Odds are the pimp has not laid out a thin dime of his own hard earned money to support the site that hosts his petty tyranny. Odds are he lives in mommy’s basement, of his personality is any indication. There are more names I could mention. *cough*TG*cough cough*

BTW...for comparison sake and with COVID symptoms in mind, paying special attention to how it attacks the immune system, look at the symptoms of HIV/AIDS and how it behaves compares to covid. Heck, maybe the pump knows this, had AIDS himself and wants everyone to join his misery...just a thought.
I suspect more than just a virus. I suspect this is closer to AIDS in the long run. That’s frightening and may explain the nagging feeling that there is much more to this covid than what we’re being told at the moment. Long term, it will come out though.

How so? AIDS takes much longer to incubate and cause death and you have certain means of transmission that aren’t at all like covid.
The damage to the immune system is similar.

the longest anyone has ‘recovered’ from thing thing is about 3 months. We know nothing about the long term effects of having had this thing.

Sad story in today’s New York Post about 45 doormen, porters, and supers who have died from COVID-19 in New York City alone. I thought of that when this started: the poor guys have to stand there while every gabbledegook talks his or her head off, especially now when everyone is lonely from being cooped up in their apartment.
And in the beginning the service people didn’t even have masks on.
They deserve a big cheer. We depend on them.

When I went to Walmart last Friday, there was an older gentleman standing outside the doors greeting everyone and advising them to use the taped off pharmacy entrance by simply ducking under the tape.
Everyone who entered here, including myself, walked right past him. He was very friendly, he greeted me, I greeted him on the way in and the way out. I’m worried about him. That’s a damn hazardous job he has.

SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Four employees of a major poultry producer’s operations in rural southwest Georgia have died after becoming infected with the coronavirus, a company spokesman said Friday.
Tyson Foods spokesman Gary Mickelson said three of the employees worked at the company’s chicken processing plant in Camilla, while the fourth person worked in a supporting job outside the plant. He declined to say how many workers there have tested positive for COVID-19, the disease caused by the new virus.
American workers who process the nation’s meat have proven especially susceptible to the new virus, as they work shoulder-to-shoulder on production lines. Several U.S. plants have closed because of outbreaks, including a large plant owned by Smithfield Foods in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, that produced roughly 5% of U.S. pork before it was shut down after more than 500 workers became infected.
Mickelson said two other Tyson Foods workers have died from the virus at its plant in Columbus Junction, Iowa.

Did you compare the symptoms, the manner in which they both attack and then use the body’s own immune system against itself? They’re the same.
On top of that, covid has extra features, the residual cardio, pulmonary, vascular, and organ damage makes it even worse. Now we’re reading studies of neurological damage on top of all. But this data will come out in time too.
To me it looks just like AIDS, though transmitted by pulmonary virus and shared surface contact, rather than direct contact of bodily fluids as with known in traditional AIDS.
p.s. Not that there’s ANYTHING traditional about AIDS =o/
