We could have been all over Facebook warning and saving lives. But Zuckerbergs better half appears to be Chinese.

chronology of testing development/deployment:

(WHO was shipping test kits, but, designed in China, they had about a 30% accuracy rate - if that)

first CDC Virus tests Feb 4 - low accuracy. High parameters, reagent issues, supply bottleneck, contaminated kits, slow turnaround from Atlanta. Out of 160,000 shipped, about 200 were used in all of Feb.

Feb 8 - hospitals complain about slow turnaround, test accuracy

Feb. 12, Messonnier said “rapid development of a diagnostic and rapid deployment to the states” is “clearly a success.” “Some of the states identified some inconclusive laboratory results.”

Feb. 14, she said: “We can be proud. … We moved quickly.”

Feb. 21, Messonnier acknowledged problems with the testing kits, but described the issues as “normal.”

Feb 27, CDC says they have fixed the test kit problem, except they didn’t

Feb 28 - Feds relax rules for virus screening. One of the reagents tossed and test run with two remaining reagents.

Mar 9 - First CCP virus test announced by Quest Diag - 2 days before WHO declared pandemic

Mar 12 - Mayo Clinic announces test for CCP virus

Mar 27 - Abbott Labs announces point of care rapid test

Apr 13 - Rutgers announces saliva test

“Essentials” run Wednesday. Walmart packed, plenty of stock, most, including managers no masks. Shops nextdoor about 10, closed, including Hobby Lobby and Dicks, not right.

California’s Newsom announces $125M fund to give coronavirus stimulus checks to immigrants in state illegally

Taxpayers would be kicking in $75 million for the money, while a group of charities has committed to raise another $50 million for a total of $125 million. A group of charities already has donated $5.5 million for the fund, including the Emerson Collective, Blue Shield of California Foundation, the California Endowment, the James Irvine Foundation, the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative and an anonymous donor.
Newsom said the money will not be distributed based on income. “Their personal information will not be required to get those support,” he added.

line up for Newsom’s slush fund, baby. No personal info needed, no income qualifying, just hold out your hand. wink wink

Also, crossover merchandise at Walmart (non grocery) plenty of shoppers. “Same type” merchandise as Hobby Lobby/Dicks. Both stores big floor footprints, always less shopper traffic. Not right

May be unnecessary but I’m gonna point out that there’s a big difference between tests for infection and tests for antibodies.
The antibody tests test to be outrageously accurate, like 99%, to be useful.

We could have been all over Facebook warning and saving lives. But Zuckerbergs better half appears to be Chinese.

I've been all over Facebook with this information since mid-January. Many paid attention. A few are coming off ventilators albeit with setbacks, then improvements. It's no picnic if you landed on a ventilator.

The good information from these threads was shared as often as possible.

If Pres. Trump can successfully make the case that Pelosi, Schumer, and Co. are gumming up the keeping of food deliveries to groceries humming, he’ll have them in a very bad spot.

It seems to me that most any establishment* that can maintain safe social distancing of customers should be able to reopen. Ditto for parks** and such.

*Restroom facilities, **outhouses, and so on, might need some attention.

One can almost imagine a sci-fi like scenario where UV-C blasting robots patrol, clean, and sanitize restrooms! (Dang, if only my daughter was a 24 y/o with a Robotics Engineering degree instead of a 14 y/o enthusiast.)

Think the problem with the CDC tests was a simple replay of ‘he was selected not elected’ which assisted the terrorists with the 911 attack. This time its ‘she won the popular vote’ followed by 3 years of false charges. So the inept CDC ends up assisting the Who and China with its Communist Biowar Attack.

AIRLINES - United

The Chicago-based carrier will dramatically cut capacity with plans to shrink its network by roughly 90% in May, United CEO Oscar Munoz and president Scott Kirby told staff in a letter Wednesday night. But the flying reductions are only the supply-half of the picture.
“Travel demand is essentially zero and shows no sign of improving in the near-term,” they said

I posted the CrossFit post of the NYC patient population. It supported the same finding. Prior to the examination of smoking there was the not so paradoxical finding that those with greater ACE2 receptors faired better than this with less.

As far as data lacking because of the smoking questionnaire, that is BS. I'm sure that if they look at the laboratory work they will have a pretty good approximation of the patient population who are smokers.

As far as the early reports regarding smokers being at higher risk, there are always those that will hijack a medical emergency for their political ends.

Finally, I wonder if blood hemoglobin is different with smokers and prevents heme breakdown.
