Rita Wilson, who announced she had contracted the coronavirus with her husband Tom Hanks last month, warned that taking the chloroquine drug that has been touted by the White House as a "game changer," caused her "extreme side effects."

The couple has since recovered from their infection that was reported on March 11, after quarantining in Australia, where they caught the illness.

Hanks cited milder symptoms than Wilson, who was given the contentious drug chloroquine for her treatment, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Yep, “All the cool kids are getting it.”

I think Fredo is faking it, too.

[[”extreme side effects” that made her nauseous, dizzy, and weakened her muscles]]

Oh for cryin out loud- those are NOT ‘extreme side effects” Those are, if anything, mild side effects- I swear she’s a sissy- The ordinary flu itself causes those side effects-

Millions upon millions of people take this drug for much longer periods than a few days like she did- and as far as we know, there have been no deaths from it or organ failures or anything- I certainly can’t find any cases of ‘severe side effects’ online- Yes, you can find theoretical side effects- but actual cases that were definitely attributed to the drug given for 5-7 days? Nope

She got saved by the drug but doesn’t think anyone else should get it? Wow- just wow! Very disgusting- Nausea is NOT a severe side effect- Grow up Rita!

My understanding is that without Zinc, it’s pretty much useless.

Shhhh! Keep that quiet, or zinc will go the way of toilet paper!

“who was given the contentious drug chloroquine for her treatment”

“chloroquine an hydroxychloroquine are
actually contraindicated for both.”

WRONGLY!

THEY ARE TWO DIFFERENT DRUGS WITH DIFFERENT SIDE EFFECTS!

The side effects for chloroquine are more severe and the side effects for hydroxychloroquine are less severe and DIFFERENT and RARE!

The Brits (British Empire) are using chloroquine. THE WRONG DRUG!

How many times do I have to post this?

Chloroquine (Aralen) vs. Hydroxychloroquine (Plaquenil)

“Side effects of chloroquine that are DIFFERENT from hydroxychloroquine include irreversible damage to the retina, deafness, tinnitus (ringing in the ears), reduced hearing, increased liver enzymes, loss of appetite, vomiting, and diarrhea.”

https://www.medicinenet.com/chloroquine_aralen_vs_hydroxychloroquine_plaquenil/article.htm#chloroquine_aralen_vs_hydroxychloroquine_plaquenil_whats_the_difference

Educate yourselves!

No one forced her to take that drug.
She had to agree.
I assume she took that drug because she wanted to live.

The most extreme side effect I’ve seen widely reported...is recovery

The Azithro antibiotic however, had caused some complications in heart patients

There are other antibiotics in combos

“...Rita Wilson warns she experienced ‘extreme side effects’ after taking chloroquine..”

Tell it to the foremost authority on lupus Dr. Daniel Wallace and millions of lupus and rheumatoid arthritis sufferers who have been using it safely since 1955.

Nausea, dizziness and weakened muscles

aren’t what most people would consider “extreme” side effects.

“that taking chloroquine, a drug that has been touted by the White House as a “game changer,” caused her “extreme side effects.””

LIARS!!!

LIES, LIES, and DAMN LIES!

Trump has touted HYDROXYchloroquine (Plaquenil) NOT Chloroquine (Aralen)

Two DIFFERENT DRUGS! You can tell this because they have TWO DIFFERENT NAMES.

Its like comparing water and beer. Both quench your thirst. Beer is mostly water. Yet drinking a lot of both will give you very different side effects.

Alcohol is an ingredient in beer, water is an ingredient in beer, but alcohol is NOT an ingredient in water.

The same, but DIFFERENT!

They took Chloroquine, NOT Hydroxychloroquine. Huge difference in side effects. In fact Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) was formulated specifically for lesser side effects than Chloroquine (CQ).

Don’t let the MSM conflate CQ with HCQ!!! HCQ is what Trump is pushing, and rightly so. Correct them every chance you get.

Also, they weren’t sure what the long term side effects or frequencies would be for HCQ, so they (manufacturers) basically copied the warnings from HQ to the instructions for HCQ. Nobody gave a rip 60 years ago. And it’s almost unheard of for any manufacturer to petition the FDA to REMOVE side effects from a label. So... it’s all still there.

But itBS. Rheumatologists use it more than anyone. They know the side effects are practically unheard of. No cardiac events. No need for EEG or EKG prior to use. The stuff is truly one of the safest on the market. Probably would have been made OTC eventually.

I’ve told everyone close to take it as a preventative if they find a doc to prescribe it. I’m super close to convincing my GP to do it for me. Need that letter WDr. Daniel Wallace sent to the FDA. That should do it.

Maybe I’ll call him...

What a flippin’ joke. ‘ contentious drug’. It’s a 70 year old drug. Just applying to a different need. They will never admit this has helped tens of thousands to recover.

Right. A side effect for her might be that she’s still alive, but who knows?
