It is Saturday night, why not.
Howard Cosell thought they were going to be the next Beatles.
He was wrong and I am not certain I will miss this song if I never hear it again.

I think Alabama’s “Dixieland Delight” mentions “a Tennessee saturday night”.
My favorite Saturday Night song.
Juke Box Saturday Night (1953 version)--The Modernaires
Juke Box Saturday Night (1961 version)--Nino & the Ebb Tides
Love the Sam Cooke.
“Probably the biggest hit of late 75 or early 76 from this one hit wonder Scottish band.”
They weren’t a one hit wonder. They had six in the U.S. Top forty. Twice as many in the UK.
Lol. Each generation seems to deprecate the music of the recent past.
I love the classics: Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, Tchaikovsky, Hayden, Brahms, Wagner, Chopin, etc.
IMAGINE how great their music is that today it is STILL performed.
THAT is music worth enjoying.
When did they remove horns from all popular music?
