I, for one, don’t mind. I appreciate the diversity of God’s creation, and think it’s great to see more non-white representation on TV.

That said, if she’s a lesbian, or her parents are LGBTQ+, I will not watch it. While I appreciate diversity, I don’t appreciate sexual perversion.

Thing is, in the original series, Doogie was quite hetero.
He was dating Wanda Plenn (Lisa Dean Ryan) and (at least in the show) lost his virginity to her.

Neal Patrick Harris didn’t come out as gay until several years later.

I don’t think they’re going to down that road with the new one. We’ll just have to wait and see.
