A man was arrested after he allegedly coughed and spit on produce at a grocery store in Kingston, Massachusetts, on Saturday.
The unidentified 65-year-old man could face charges after witnesses said they saw him cough and spit on food at the Stop and Shop located at 160 Summer Street, according to Boston 25 News.
Its terrifying and no one should ever do that, even if it is a joke, said Kyle Mann, who recorded video footage of customers tackling and pinning the suspect to the ground.
Especially with the CDC now recommending everyone wear face masks, someone doing this makes people more uncomfortable for people to leave their house to get necessary items, he stated, adding, And its honestly disgraceful.
In the video, three men held the suspect down as they waited for police officers to arrive.
Dont try to get up, one of them said to the man.
Im not! he replied.
In a Facebook post Saturday, the Kingston Police Department said it had no reason to believe the suspect had the coronavirus.

Good video. Glad there are still some real men out there who take care of business.
The guy doing the tackling is wearing a Union jacket.

Sorry I don’t see the relevance.
From “Eraser....”
John: A major defense contractor is selling to terrorists on the black market.
[Tony and his whole crew start laughing]
Tony Two Toes: Mr. Sixty Minutes, tell me something I don’t know.
John: It’s happening tonight, on your docks.
Tony Two Toes: [stops laughing] *That* I didn’t know.
Very AFofL and the CIO.
Nothing good comes from places called Stop and Shop.
...and Teamster (having been one)
Earlier today when I went to the store, after shopping, I approached the check out isle. I noticed an older man checking out, I stopped as far as I could away from him while still being in line. I waited until he was walking out of the store before I began to put my groceries on the belt.
After I finished putting my groceries there, I went to the bagging area to help the cashier bag my stuff, I had bought a good deal, not going to make this guy bag all my junk. Another man came after me, and I noticed he did not give me the same courtesy. He put his stuff on right after mine, then walked up to the card reader, which was about 3 feet away from me.
I said we’re not done here, man. I said this to him about 4-5 times. He looked at me like I was insane. I guess maybe I am since I was wearing a bandanna over my mouth. The cashier started laughing, guy still stands there staring at me. I said to him, I still have to pay. If you want to pay for me, I’ll will let you.
He finally understood and back up ever so slightly.
People don’t get it. They need to wise up. Silly things like this could spin out of control with the wrong people involved.
“”even if it is a joke””
HUH? What kind of idiot would think doing it was funny?
Massachusetts = demoncrat!
Some of the stores where I’m at? If you don’t stand 6 feet apart in line they throw you out. It’s marked on the floor by some kind of tape.
It’s not quite to that level yet at the Winn Dixie I was at. Everyone seemed to be going out of their way to be courteous, but this poor guy was totally oblivious.
I was picking up some packages at my local UPS Store earlier.
They have little squares to stand in while waiting. I called them Les Nessman areas. One of the people behind the counter got it.
One of the squares I am sometimes in I sometimes lean over like Joliet Jake when he was signing his stuff back.
AHHHHH! SOCIAL DISTANCING! SOCIAL DISTANCING!
In other news, good to see the robot seems to be surprisingly effective in this situation.
Jeezis, don’t Breitbart got no editors? The preterite of “to spit” is “spat.” And in the friggin’ headline no less!
