Earlier today when I went to the store, after shopping, I approached the check out isle. I noticed an older man checking out, I stopped as far as I could away from him while still being in line. I waited until he was walking out of the store before I began to put my groceries on the belt.
After I finished putting my groceries there, I went to the bagging area to help the cashier bag my stuff, I had bought a good deal, not going to make this guy bag all my junk. Another man came after me, and I noticed he did not give me the same courtesy. He put his stuff on right after mine, then walked up to the card reader, which was about 3 feet away from me.
I said we’re not done here, man. I said this to him about 4-5 times. He looked at me like I was insane. I guess maybe I am since I was wearing a bandanna over my mouth. The cashier started laughing, guy still stands there staring at me. I said to him, I still have to pay. If you want to pay for me, I’ll will let you.
He finally understood and back up ever so slightly.
People don’t get it. They need to wise up. Silly things like this could spin out of control with the wrong people involved.
Some of the stores where I’m at? If you don’t stand 6 feet apart in line they throw you out. It’s marked on the floor by some kind of tape.
