I just find it incredible...that the SG told us NO masks....and, yesterday, puts out a craft-type vid for a HOMEMADE mask.
We all knew, here, on these CV threads, that CV could be spread via droplets. I don’t think there would’ve been mass hysteria if they would’ve told public that, a month ago....and, suggested their homemade cloth face masks.
Look how many have been infected, due to droplets, since.
It’s a blessing and a curse.
My wife started sewing them and donating to a hospital and now she’s getting bombed with requests, emails, and texts, can’t keep up, and people are mad at her for no reason.

Some people focus on COVID-19 deaths. Okay... but deaths is a lagging indicator. I think new hospitalizations is a better measure of where an era is in regards to COVID-19.

I’ve got an autistic son. A week or so after a round of shots, it was like a switch got flipped in his brain. He was normal up to that point and starting to talk. He quit trying to talk and became fixated on a single stylus sized toy. Didn’t speak a word until he was 4 1/2.

Okay... but please go back to some early COVID-19 threads. There were several on the threads dismissive of people wearing masks, with explanations such as the virus is so small it will pass through the mask, etc. etc., while ignoring the other benefits of wearing masks.
The reality is at her age, she doesn’t need to be sitting at the sewing machine for 12 hours a day, I’m about ready to steal some vital part out of it when she’s in the bathroom LOL.
