COVID-19 cases jumped 85%, from 2,874 cases on Monday to 5,330 on Friday, according to the Texas Department of State Health Services. https://www.kvue.com/article/news/health/coronavirus/coronavirus-cases-rose-85-since-monday-but-thats-not-what-all-happened/269-efbf4a6c-7b6a-4fd5-8a15-6b0d0bbf1f28

“Workers who need to travel back and forth over the Texas-Louisiana border will need to get a letter from the state, according to the Texas Department of Emergency Management.
Companies will need to make the request by filling out the GA 11 and GA 12 travel exemption form found at texas.gov/covid19.” https://www.kvue.com/article/news/health/coronavirus/texas-governor-orders-travel-restrictions-for-anyone-coming-into-state-from-louisiana/502-24a93360-4615-41e9-8099-bc7cb9727ac7

Austin Regional Clinic is looking into finding other labs or doing the CV tests in-house due to long delays getting results. Results are still taking a week or more.

Rural counties around Austin do not have or will not test for CV. Many are posting on area boards upset with this. Coughs, fever, can’t smell, aches and the usual CV symptoms and who were around confirmed cases. That isn’t enough. Only until you are in respiratory distress. Otherwise, go home. No additional aid.

Mexico border - “Like many El Paso residents, Aaron de la Rosa has family on both sides of the U.S.-Mexico border and likes to keep in touch with them. I probably come here once a month to check up on family and then I return home,” he said. The COVID-19 pandemic has made him more cautious but he continues to cross into Mexico. On Thursday, he was among dozens of motorists who came up to a checkpoint set up by Mexican authorities south of the Bridge of the Americas to screen visitors from the United States for signs of COVID-19. Juarez police asked him if he was experiencing a cough, headaches or difficulty breathing, and a paramedic took his temperature.” https://www.kxan.com/news/us-visitors-dont-mind-coronavirus-checkpoints-at-mexican-border/

Big Bend National Park closed.

Various city parks are closed for the Easter weekend. Otherwise, they’re open but restrooms and playscapes are closes and water fountains turned off.

Look in the mirror.

We’ve already had one on these threads who had an accident making a post office run.

Keep looking in the mirror every time you post, troll.

Maria Bartiromo on FOX just said those who had the virus are immune for 60-90 days.

So, do they get an 89 day work pass?

We don’t know enough about immunity to give free passes.

So, rural Austin areas just letting this thing spread...since they’re not confirming/testing cases?

One week, for test results, is absurd.

I wonder where Maria B got the 60 -90 day immunity data.

And, my question, is it 60 or 90 days, Maria? That’s an entire month of difference.

One person. And? Stop driving? Again, I'm sorry if people having a differing viewpoint with you on how they should take steps re: COVID-19 makes you uncomfortable.

Keep looking in the mirror every time you post, troll.

LOL.

Using the word troll in this circumstance is just another way of saying "I don't like it when people have different viewpoints than me, and since I cannot argue the facts, I'll just call them a troll."

What strikes me the most odd, is that the SG is even making an ad about how to make your own, homemade face mask.

Did you EVER imagine that our SG would be doing this, especially just a short time after telling us that we don’t need to wear a mask, at all?

Incredible.

“Maria Bartiromo on FOX just said those who had the virus are immune for 60-90 days.”

If true, I wonder if we would have to get vaccine shots very 90 days?

Is there any web links with articles/research that states this?

This is the first I heard the immunity only last so many days. I have heard about reinfections that happen in China.

If true not good at all. if you survive the first wave you can be re-infected in the second wave and so on. Each infections could lead to more damage to the body depending how bad you get it. Example: Lungs are damage in some people during infection. Older you get the worst.

This would shorten the average human life span to between 50 and 60 years old. The USA does not have to worry about Social Security anymore soon. Population Control Virus... Logins Run

So what? Nobody calls out CNN.

...and when does anyone call out Fauci for pushing for a Bill Gates vaccination scheme rather than the malaria drug cocktail which is shown on the ground to work?

I found a replay of yesterday’s briefing, but....when POTUS is saying that, it’s a close up of POTUS. You can’t see VP or Fauci.

They ARE wearing those same ties, though.

Maybe there’s still pics, of same.

“just a short time after telling us that we don’t need to wear a mask, at all”

The message is being carefully crafted to avoid public panic.

The way President Trump started comparing to a flu in early Feb, now it worst then a flu.

It is a control release to avoid public panic. We are going to see a lot deaths over the next two months.

“that looks photoshopped”

I agree it is Photoshop. I work in the Web Development and very familiar on what a Professional can do with a Photoshop. That was done by a non-professional.

I am sure we have Professional Graphics person here that can debunk that image.

Is New York using the malaria drug cocktail? I am beginning to wonder because of the death rate there.
