Yep. And it’s so ingrained in people’s heads, you can’t even have a conversation about it. So I don’t post that on other threads. Not worth it.
Here, here but re: COVID-19. Unless the data can be normalized so that stats and regions can be compared, the value of the stats is limited.
Some people focus on COVID-19 deaths. Okay... but deaths is a lagging indicator. I think new hospitalizations is a better measure of where an era is in regards to COVID-19.
