There’s 35% unemployment right now silly rabbit. But businesses are being paid to keep their payrolls or at least their rents paid. Nobody in govt employment is hurting. Little People are being encouraged to not give up their dreams. Some are using this opportunity to skill-up. So that when this passes, the ‘non-essential’ Little People go right back to 1% unemployment. And consumerism explodes into the stratosphere, especially for theatre, restaurants, amusements, new autos, outdoor gear and widgits. People will reward themselves for surviving. Bank on it.

CONCORD, N.H. (WHDH) - Health officials in New Hampshire have announced 61 new cases of coronavirus in the state and two new deaths.
This brings the total number of positive cases in the state to 540, with two adults over 60 added to the toll of COVID-19-related deaths.

The latest death came from the Prince of Peace Retirement Community in Sioux Falls. Avera Health, which operates the facility, said one of the residents died of COVID-19 and two other residents are infected with it.

You are dreaming. The economy is shutting down all around me. Housing construction in particular. Who will buy a house in an area where recently constructed homes lost 40-50% of their value only a decade ago? Only the insane and financially illiterate. It’s going to take years to restore consumer confidence that was shattered by the Wu Flu Panic of 2020.
I may have missed the info, but are they still giving the ages of those who have died? Italy had so many elderly folks passing away (who had other health issues also).
So, I’m wondering if the same thing is happening in the U.S. Are the ages and any underlying conditions being displayed alongside the daily deaths?
And, before anyone jumps on me saying why should it matter, seniors are people too! Yes, I agree, because I’m a senior also. So, I can ask it. :)

If someone is economically ‘devastated’ after 2 weeks, something’s wrong and it ain’t the gubmint. Lost it in stocks? where was your hedge? Lost your job? Where is your rainy-day fund? Store closed? Again, where’s your rainy-day fund? Why aren’t you driving for a delivery service to make some instant cash? Why aren’t you applying for one of all those jobs considered ‘essential’? From construction to minimarts to Costco. Welfare folks aren’t hurting - their checks still come. Section 8 housing still there. Same as SS. Can’t get evicted, can’t get foreclosed, can’t have your water shut off. Those with the lowest earnings will get their rescue check first. 2-3 weeks? com’n now. Don’t go all drama queen.

There you go, making sense again.
So just doing a quick glance at the GA chart...practically all of the people were over 60 years of age, and very many had underlying conditions.
I would imagine that might be the case in every state in the Union.
I think these figures should be calculated daily by every state and then a total of all the U.S. given, showing those percentages of age/underlying deaths. That information alone might ease the panic and hysteria if more people were given the real facts.
