Last Thursday March 26, 2020 the biggest fake news story perhaps in the past year, was all over the tv news, including Fox News. The evening news programs reported that America has the most cases of COVID-19 in the world, which apparently is the CCP’s propaganda line. This story, although unlikely and illogical, and entirely unproveable, but was presented as factual.
Now think about this for one minute: China has 1.4 billion people, USA 340 million. The virus has been prevalent there much longer. The Chinese have a history of lying. Why would anyone believe them? Hillary Clinton mocked the President for being #1 in CV-19 cases. This story was very unlikely to be true,had no documentation, yet no one challenged it. It was on every news program. Where did this story come from? Is this Chinese propaganda? Why did no one look at it skeptically?

Another contender is the narrative that the media and libs were so concerned about COVID and trying to raise the alarm during the critical first months when in actuality if you go back in time you’d find at that point they were busy chasing Trump around with the impeachment stupidity.

This story was reported as if US had passed China in the number of COVID-19 deaths. It was all over the evening news.
If one says something stupid, do they all have to report the same stupid story as factual?

Early on it was decided by libtard pols and their media allies they could use this crisis as a way to go after Trump, get a second impeachment reason.
The more important statistic is the mortality rate. The USA is second lowest in the world, second only to Germany. And some people find the German stats suspicious.
The very least one could say about China’s actions and attitudes would be that they have been ambiguous and we are right to consider the possibility that this either started out or became during the process a weaponized attack on our prosperity and freedom in the western world.
The very least we should do in response is to place heavy import duties on Chinese goods as a partial recovery from the economic harm — I would personally favor a ban on imports altogether but perhaps that would harm economic interests within our countries, as they would be certain to retaliate in kind.
We should also play hard-ball on the cultural and sporting fronts, seek to ban China from all participation in the international community. Send their ambassadors home. Make it clear that we are fed up with their attitude and won’t be taking it lying down.
As to the numbers, they are almost certainly lying about their numbers. Why should anyone trust what they say? We can hardly trust our own democratic governments so that one, I don’t think so.

With the current MSM, always look for the political propaganda angle first, in every “news story” presented. If you do that, you’ll see the truth buried 98% of the time, and you won’t be so easily mislead.

China is sort of like a giant Venezuela, only rich. The Chinese people are crushed under a totalitarian communist weight. The control which the CCP excerpts on its people is mind baffling.
I could be wrong but I believe the numbers that the media are fed come from WHO which is a corrupt pro-CCP operation headed by a Marxist. The mediots accept the data apparently without question because their interests and the UN/CCP’s are apparently the same.
We have a lot compared to individual, smaller, countries. Compared to Europe as a whole, we come out pretty good.
The US population is greater than the 5 largest European countries (UK, Italy, France, Germany, Spain) combined. Compare US total cases and fatalities to the totals in those 5 countries. The virus began in China, then Europe became the epicenter, then the US. There is simply no way that China is being truthful about their numbers.
