Bernie Sanders, acknowledging 'narrow path' to nomination, continues to push agenda amid pandemic

From his home in Burlington, Vermont early Tuesday morning, in a remote interview with a comedian stationed 250 miles away, Sen. Bernie Sanders made an unusual concession.

"There is a path," Sanders, I-Vt., told Seth Meyers, when asked in an appearance on "Late Night" about his chances to win the Democratic presidential nomination, before continuing.

"It is admittedly a narrow path."

Sanders’ presidential bid exists, as with much of society's normal activities, in a state of coronavirus-induced holding pattern. With both the senator and former Vice President Joe Biden each suspending campaign activities, from rallies with tens of thousands of attendees down to door-to-door canvassing, and several states postponing primaries for several weeks, the opportunity for the former to claw his way back into the race, or the latter to land a final knockout punch are stuck in suspended animation.

But Sanders also faced backlash after missing a procedural vote for a coronavirus package, remaining at home in Burlington, Vermont to host a campaign-sponsored livestream focused on COVID-19 rather than return to the Capitol. A spokesperson for his Senate office later said Sanders was engaged in negotiations remotely and that they felt certain the cloture vote would fail whether or not he was present.

Hey Bernie, do you honestly think the people give a chit about the election amid the virus?

Bernie needs to stay in and be the most-delegate alternative when Biden is confirmed as senile corrupt politician. He’s already been dismissed and forgotten, the Democrat party needs to catch up on this, Bernie needs to stand by and be ready to accept the nomination, else cry foul if cheated out of it by some backroom deal to draft Andrew Coumo.

Well the Bern’s got more game right now that the DNC elder abuse campaign with Joe Biden.

Right now the Bern is winning by default as the DNC retools from its Biden elder abuse campaign to another candidate, likely Cuomo.

It is hilarious to watch the major media trying to put lipstick on the Biden pig.

Of course Bernie should stay in—all the way to the convention—if there is a convention....

This is the year of the crazy....

It is a narrow path to his new VT mansion. Don’t worry the mud will dry up soon.

What this creepozoid Commie is really after is more and more money.

During the 2016 election, Bernie’s wife and friends funneled 80-plus million dollars through ‘election’ entities to fatten their nests. If you are looking for the reason Bernie will not withdraw yet, there is way too much money to steal. Heck, he could even run for President as a third party independent, and really rake in the greenbacks. The way things are going, he will end up with 4 or 5 more lake houses.
