America is stocking up on food, thermometers — and hair dye.
The latest sales data from Nielsen shows how our lives have been affected by widespread social distancing and, in some areas, mandatory lockdowns, as the world tries to slow the spread of the coronavirus.
Just as in recent weeks, sales of medical supplies, cleaning products, paper goods and shelf-stable food have been remarkably high. But last week, customers also flocked to beauty products — salons are closed, after all.
Yeast saw a big spike as we launched new baking projects. And in the meat department, hefty spiral hams have newfound popularity.
Here's some of Nielsen's data on what Americans were buying.

As for cutting her hair though, I haven't really gotten past cutting some off the bottom in a straight line. Let's just say I don't have any of those hairdresser genes in me...

That is so my issue at this time. LOL
It’s colored as well, though that is by far the secondary issue.
My skin is very sensitive and the hair on the back of my neck is really driving me nuts. I already advised my friend to book me as soon as humanly possible. She’s worried about me cutting my own hair. LOL
Yes. Supermarkets are now full of the virus and becoming more so every day. Many people have talked about going to quite a few stores in a day trying to get supplies that were not adequately stocked in advance, many of them through more than one state. And many of them, no doubt, took the virus with them.
My sister’s family is doing the shopping for me now. They take the groceries to their house. Disinfect them. They then deposit the groceries into my car. I pick them up and disinfect the lot again. Wish me luck. So far so good.
People who work in grocery should wear masks...
And customers going into grocery stores should have their temps taken.

That’s horrible. What the heck are they putting on their hair?
I did hair for 42 years..raised my son and daughter watching me work...and by their teens, both could give a darn good H/C...daughter went to school and got her licenses but then decides not enough money for her, so she goes into sales, but has always keep up with her natural talent ..
She always does my perms and I've stopped coloring my hair ten years ago..just got tired of doing it...but she has her hair colored and she taught her hubby how to do it for her... lol..a month ago she deiced to lose the blond look, and went back to red/brunette...so she stocked up on hair color....lol...she just told me her hubby gave her a decent H/C, and color.. and she drops like a $100.00 on a hair cut so she is saving bucks....
Told her often how in 1964 I worked in a small shop on West 25th St in Cleveland, and in summer time we gave H/C for $ ONE DOLLAR on Mon. and Tues....and they lined up outside, down the street...there were four of us working...and sometime didn't get the floor swept for 8 hr's... ahhh the memories....and the most I ever charged for a H/C was seven dollars... Just sharing... Have a Peaceful and restful week posters ...we live in the Country on three acre's, NO neighbors, so we have been enjoying the nicer temps and the sprouting daffodils.
I have the same issue. As to hair color, I am all gray/white. Earned every one.
