Spain awoke to its third week under near-total lockdown on Sunday, as the government met to approve a strengthening of measures and the coronavirus death toll rose by a record 838 cases overnight to 6,528.
Second only to Italy in fatalities, Spain also saw infections rise to 78,797 from 72,248 the day before.
Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, in a televised address to the nation on Saturday night, announced that all non-essential workers must stay at home for two weeks, the latest government measure in the fight against coronavirus.
He said workers would receive their usual salaries but would have to make up lost hours at a later date. The measure would last from March 30 to April 9.
Unions welcomed the measures and business groups CEOE and CEPYME said that while they would comply with the new rule, “it will generate an unprecedented huge impact on the Spanish economy, especially in sectors such as industry”.

In other words the projected US deaths from ebola were off by a factor of 14,000.
The UK covid model has already been revised DOWN by a factor of 25. The others based on it like www.covidactnow.org and the NYT model Hillary has been tweeting will be revised down too, or will look very stupid. Wait for it!

We both see it the same. My point is that today’s total deaths (10) is a fraction of previous days’ death rates.
You are right. My point is that the number of flu deaths is also based on models. There is no actual count. I doubt that all those people are dying from the flu. This is pure academic BS.
The EU CDC has said this will not go away in warm weather and is not seasonal.

Spain is down to taking 65 year olds off respirators and doping them up so they die peacefully. They’re stacking dead bodies in an ice rink. US health officials have this practice on the back burner.
The numbers are saying that from the day before...72,000 accumulated cases, that in one day, not a single case came off the infected rolls. Highly unlikely.
I have always been skeptical of the numbers both sites offer up.
Meanwhile in the US, the Recovered number rose by 1517 - OVERNIGHT! I think what’s really happening is that reporting isn’t all that much up to date.
What I meant was the increase in daily infection was the exact same number as the cumulative death toll. Coincidence?
Reviewing your chart, it is laughable that China, the source of the pandemic and densely populated with over a billion people, is shown as having so few cases. It is stunningly obvious to all but the most mentally retarded, that any sort of “news,” such as PRC government claims about politics, the market, or anything else they assert, is all just pure, unadulterated bullschitt.
