For full disclosure - HCQ prolongs the QT interval. Hypothetically the macrolide azithromycin can as well. Hence the concern about synergy among some MDs. But IMO that is what a daily EKG is for!!! Also I have seen some docs concerned about liver injury and azithromycin.
I have Rx’d a metric ton of azithromycin in my career. Side effects in zero patients. Literally.

Fascinating article...I noted that it said that PPEs are not allowed to worn in hallways....
Too bad the virus likes hallway air vents... :-(
That was a bad one in Arkansas. Took out a mall. Good thing it was shut down...no customers or sales people harmed.
one headed now to Henderson County, Il.
It’s going to be a wild night! I have family near Memphis and in Jackson, Tn.
You can bet I won’t sleep tonight.
Have you seen the NY Post article that mentions “mercenary nurses” about traveling nurses getting premium pay? Maybe I’m being oversensitive—however, those healthcare workers go into the eye of the storm and should be well compensated. (Could have avoided pejorative tone in title wording.)
Just immune?
Probably immortal as well!
according to the facebook message for dr weg that i posted earlier, the remdesivir trial is full (400 patients) and no longer accepting any more patients.

Are we sure Keith Richards still has blood?
Are we sure it’s compatible with humans?
This story makes me laugh. His son was an idiot
Coronavirus-panicked dad locks son out of house after spring break trip
I had filled the trunk of Matts car with groceries and left him an envelope containing $300 in cash, Peter said. All the guys keys were on the front seat. They got out of the car [from the airport] near our driveway and I said, Stay right there! Do not go any further! The guys were tired and they had a two-and-a-half hour drive ahead of them. I love my son, but they were not sleeping here. I said, If any of you have to pee, we have some bushes. Two of them took me up on it.
have you see anything about why they arent trying the z-pak combo? cuomo allows it in NY in a hospital setting
Mount Sinai hospital leaders holed up in Florida vacation homes during coronavirus crisis
I have an idea on the subway. All essential workers get passes. Nobody gets on the subway without a pass. This will keep the joyriders off and the link going.
The weakest link in NYC is the projects. The door-ed and middle class apts are taking care of their buildings re: clean elevators, mopping/spraying with disinfectant, etc. So they’re good to go.
Who’s doing the same in the projects/low income apt elevators? Do they have disinfectants to clean their apts? What can we do to help them? These are high-risk because of the nutrition-related chronic conditions in low-income areas. What’s being done right now? Do they have people on this?
Moons ago, traveling nurses could earn $110K easy
All the bridges and tunnels and all the subways could be closed.
Patrol boats could intercept in the harbor using drones as spotters.
NYC could be quarantined.
But it would be ugly.
Correct I understand. Any accounting for genetic differences relative to thiss gateway? How do ACE2 inhibitors work and do they show any promise on this?
Thanks for any correction and contradiction.
US human trafficking laws were passed that allow prosecution of US citizens, whom are abroad, if they commit acts in foreign countries that would be considered illegal in the US.
Ex: age of consent in Thailand, is 15, and American men go there and have sex with legal prostitutes that are 15 years in age. Thai government in cooperation with US authorities, run a sting operation, snaring American men. The American men are arrested by Thai authorities, extradited to the US, and prosecuted in the US, for serious charges involving sex with minors. Heavy fines and severe prison sentences in some cases. Human trafficking is rampant, and is thriving because of rampant customer base in US. Often, foreign nationals migrate here, and continue their illegal, inhumane practices from their birth countries. Isn’t diversity grand?
