Elton John said there might be a silver lining to the lockdowns being used in a bid to control the coronavirus pandemic, saying the experience might make him, and others, less selfish.
Every cloud has a silver lining, John told Apples Zane Lowe. Maybe this will bring people together and [theyll] be far more thoughtful about each other in a world where were so selfish me included. And it gives us time to reflect on what lifes all about. And life is about love and sharing and generosity of spirit and coming together as one.
He added that hes been using the downtime to spend time with his two sons one of the reasons he decided to embark on a farewell tour, which has been postponed. To be honest with you, its great to be able to spend this much time with my boys, John noted.

Oh no. He’s spending more time with his two sons. Poor kids.
Nope.
No, life is about the biggest game hunt of all...
Read this Sir Elton: Romans 1:18-32.
Selfishness is a sin. He might try getting right with God.
He'll be fine by the end of the day.
“How long until these selfless celebs treat us to a Covid-Aid concert?”
Great point. Great virtue signaling and maybe a tax write off.

They missed Ebola, SARS and MERS.
No can do. Besides, it would take away from their time protesting at the L4 labs with Bill & Meliminate Gates.
Why are these people so damned preachy?
not possible
no force on earth
I guess we all need motivation to try to become better people. It doesn’t take a worldwide pandemic for most of us, but whatever works.
;)
He did perform at Rush’s wedding and the couple liked it.
Larry Fitzgerald of the Az. Cardinals lives not to far from where I do (I am sure in a much, much nicer house than I). There is a popular Italian deli and sandwich shop in the area, a traditional family run mom and pop place. The owner 'pop' is very likable guy, who has run the place for forty years, he is suffering from terminal cancer.
Larry Fitzgerald hosted a fundraiser. All the food was on him and you ate and what you would have paid was hoped to be donated. Mr. Fitzgerald also matched each donation, dollar for dollar. The line was out the door, all day long.
Heart warming stories like that makes you wish that more of these mega stars acted in such a way.
“How much could he give away and suffer?
Many millions Im sure.”
Not so sure about that. He spends money like crazy. Remember his bankruptcy back in the late 80’s or 90’s?
I can’t remember the exact figures but he was blowing through something like $10 million a month in personal expenses.
If that’s his concern, this story would not exist.
Sunday at 9:00 P.M.
I guess he never heard of Democrats.
Larry Fitzgerald ate my Hokies alive when he played at Pitt
