Thread #26 here:

While I was still working in Silver Spring on-site, I would be knuckle-pushing the elevator buttons (finger pads are the usual contact surface), elbowing the bathroom door open or pushing the handicapped plate to open it automatically, etc.
Now I’m teleworking. With God’s providence and wisdom, it will continue this way for awhile.
I understand that is the reason for the low transmission in South Korea and Japan, people go in public wearing masks.
Yep, it makes a HUGE DIFFERENCE between having a nearly linear rate of growth, versus exponential. But the CDC cant admit that we have none, because they figured only those silly Asians have a need to wear masks.
In fact I see a trend where cloth masks become fashionable and available for the general public and N-95 and surgical reserved for medical personnel.
More a matter of Dem jurisdictions rather than states. NYC, LA, New Orleans, Atlanta...
Cities are candy for this virus.
Thank you for that post from the doctor. Time to break out a medical dictionary!
I’m not visiting friggin’ ANYBODY for the next few months, I guess. EVERYBODY that I know has a connection to some vulnerable person or relative, or they themselves are vulnerable. One of them is married to a nurse, who is undoubtedly getting her ass worked off right now, since they live in Montgomery County, MD, which seems to be the epicenter of Maryland’s caseload, as far as I know.
what a great doctor to take the time to write that summation.
’ leave them dry.” is what we were saying here when the Chi-coms were sticking IVs into everyone that walked in the door. They were drowning them.
Thanks for the response. My blood sugar is staying down ok too.
Usually it goes up quite a bit when I am fighting something.
I would probably pay no mind at all to it if I were not a bit stressed.
I am in King County WA so....

Just stay home if you’re unsure. If you prepped, you should have some extra food.
Why in the hell are they not getting the drug cocktails into these patients what in the hell are they waiting for!!!

New coronavirus warning: Don’t visit family; exercise only in your area
“For families in different households, do not mix your households at this time. As hard as this is, do not gather in any way outside of immediate households,” Dr. Scott Morrow, health officer in San Mateo County, said in a statement.
“As for outdoor exercise, people certainly need to get out, but do this in your own immediate neighborhoods,” Morrow said. “Do not drive except to provide or obtain an essential service. Do not go into other neighborhoods for recreation. This increases the risk of virus spread.”
As another freeper said, What’s that for? To make sure everyone’s on the streets at the same time?
You’re in Texas, a relatively sane state. I suspect most people will voluntarily follow the CDC guidelines, except maybe for all the idiots in Austin.
I was told the report on the SC DHEC site does not show all of the positive tested cases. SC DHEC only reports test done via the State not the commercial testing.
I am hearing reports the hospital are busy already in Greenville.

I posted it on the main FR page, that’s what they are doing over there. I need it explained to me like I’m 5.
