President Donald Trump was featured in a Fox News Town Hall on the White House lawn about the CCP Virus alongside Vice President Mike Pence, Surgeon General Jerome Adams and White House Virus Task Force response coordinator Deborah Birx. It was hosted by Bill Hemmer and Harris Faulker who was able to teleconference in.
Trump's overall message in this town hall, maybe against the wishes of those around him, is for Americans to get back to work as soon as possible.
People are tired of the shutdown of our great country in the United States of America. They feel like prisoners in their own homes. They can't work to provide the basic needs of their household. All because of government mandate and/or suggestion that their employees/patrons are following.
Trump understands the aforementioned and also that this cannot continue. The damage done by trying to avoid the virus may, in the end, be worse than the virus itself. It is time to get back to work.
Any vote not cast for Trump is giving that chance to the demonrats.
Did I see a headline that said President Trump canceled the Stimulus/Recovery bill because Nasty put too much “garbage” my word, into it and rendered it useless.

According to tracking numbers from the Johns Hopkins site, so far 703 out of about 350,000,000 Americans have died from this. During Obama’s term in 2012-2013 56,000 Americans died from the regular flu, says the CDC. So, get a grip.
My local healthcare system (where 5 different family members work) is already near collapse from CV19 patients. They are at max capacity and coverting ORs to ICUs, because their ICUs are overflowing with CV19 patients.
Did you even WATCH the Cuomo presser? NY is 14-21 days from collapse. They need 140K beds and have 59K. Need 30K ICU beds and have 3K. Need 30K ventilators and have 10K. Etc.
Seems a lot of Freepers are not watching what is happening and instead want to accuse those of us who are of being “alarmist and hysterical”. I have first-hand knowledge of what’s happening locally..and I spend a fair amount of time listening to what’s happening across the country. I wonder how many other Freepers do, and how many just want to claim those of us who do are “alarmist” or “hysterical”..

And you guys for some inexplicable reason keep ignoring the projected exponential growth (much higher R0) and likely collapse of HC systems worldwide. For instance - we’re barely two weeks in to this locally and our biggest local healthcare system is SLAMMED. They are out of capacity. Out of vents. And we’re only 2 weeks in. God helps us in week 4, week 6, etc. There will be a lot of people that need treatment that won’t be able to get it - just like Italy and Spain.
The # of deaths to date from CV19 are all but meaningless.
What we are facing on total # infected and hospital overload IS the issue. And that’s totally different from the flu.

In January (or February) they encouraged people to get together in Chinatown for the Chinese celebration, openly shouting defiance at the virus! The most dead soul governor in recent memory proclaimed he was for and would defend the slaughtering of alive unborn humans right up to and including during birth.
