I am calling official B.S. on this hoax of a "pandemic." We have been told by the "scientists" that hospitals would be overrun, the dead would be piling up, etc. Please post "on the ground" reports from your city/state. Are your hospitals overrun? Are healthy people dying? Any signs that a Bubonic Plague is among us?
And if the cruise is longer than 10 days it also skews older. - Tom
“Even on the cruise ship the Diamond Princess, which had 3,000 seniors and only 7 deaths (all super-seniors/underlying problems), the mortality rate was less than 1%!!”
Actually, 9 deaths at least, and a mysterious extra five cases have appeared from somewhere, so that’s 712 cases. That is 1.3% and we don’t know how many of the people that got off recovered or died.
Still, with the resources of an entire country focused on them and the scrutiny of the world media to motivate success, that’s still 13 times your average flu.
I’d really like to know where those extra cases came from.
Where are the bodies?
.......excellent news coming out of Italy......the virus has continued to spread, but at a declining rate........
There were fewer new infections in Italy than there have been in a week. This is not a data hiccup; there have been fewer new infections each day for four days now.
So for all the people who warn of the horrors to come, saying that what happens in Italy will soon happen here, looks like Italy is following the same type of curve that South Korea and, reportedly, China have followed, a curve that, for America, points to hundreds of thousands, but not hundreds of millions, of infections.
I hope you get it
Amen.
“And a ship that was SATURATED with the China Virus only had 7 deaths, and some of those would have survived had they had access to American hospitals.”
Two things - the people on the ship were chunked up into different zones with different air, etc., and they had masks, stayed apart to a large degree, etc. And of the people repatriated to the US - 40 - one has died, at least, making the death rate for that subgroup twice what it was for the others - who, as I pointed out in my prior post to you, had the entire resources of a country focused on them. A first-world medical system.
China isn’t telling the truth, everyone with an active brain cell know it except you. Please, go peddle your nonsense elsewhere, or don’t. It’s your call. As I’ve said since the start, some good will come of this virus, if only to make the gullible less numerous.
That wasn’t CCP-19. It was everywhere. I had that before the CCP virus was even loose. So did a number of people I know, including people in my household.
A lot of people that have never been tested claim they had it and it was no big deal, but they never got tested and the timing is often completely wrong.
If you did have it, you’re sure you had it, go volunteer to give plasma for research.
I didn’t believe it from the outset. Have a look at wherearethebodies.com
Yeah, he posted a hysterical post, but REFUSED to identify his city, state, or the hospitals/ERs/medical centers. We call such information “worthless.”
They have to show a few more deaths now because the word is out about China’s three main telecom services losing in the past 2 months 15 million subscribers....all suddenly.
I had it at 7 cases, not 9. Keep in mind that these deceased (whether 7 or 9) did not have access to America’s medical system—they were docked in Japan. And all had significant, underlying conditions. For a super-senior with underlying conditions to be sick at sea with primitive healthcare is not a great situation. Still, very low death rate. If you included teenagers up to 65 year olds, the mortality rate is closer to .1%, not 1.3%.
Unfortunately There is no way we will keep the deaths under 750 the rate has been on a pretty steady rate , rising 20+% or more each day. I think the rate will flatten but not enough to keep us under probably 5000. To check my thoughts look at March 27 28 or 29. I am quite confident deaths will pass 1000 on one of those days. The problem in perception is that cases per million varies wildly by area. The us as a whole is about 100. Ky and Indiana are about 25. West Virginia around 10. But New York City and Seattle over 1000 and westchester county just north of New York about 2000. BIG difference
I hope you get mauled to death by a wild animal, which you have a greater chance of than dying from the China virus.

I’m one of the ones that say we’ll follow the path of SK - if the FluBros can keep their panties untwisted.
However, Italy is not having, nor will they have, an outcome similar to SK. They waited too long, and even if they get it under control by implementing the containment and mitigation practices that I and others are advocating (they have implemented even more drastic measures than we have), they will still have a horrendous death toll. Because they thought it was nothing.
Spain is at the Tipping Point, too, Liz. They are on the Italy path. China and Iran are full of crap. Their real numbers are not being reported, mostly to placate their own populations and to save face. We’ll see if that works out for them.
1) They were not quarantined originally. There was only a quarantine AFTER people started getting infected.
2) It’s virtually impossible to quarantine on a ship. The food handlers, the maids, other passengers, etc.
3) They did not have AMERICAN medical care. They were docked in Japan.
Bottom line: It’s hard to convince anyone that the China Virus poses a substantial threat the to public when only 7 people died on a cruise ship, all were super-seniors with respiratory issues, and they did not have access to American healthcare.
That is more likely to be due to them putting more restrictions on people leaving their apartments. Once the restrictions are eased, the rates will most likely climb again.
Which brings up the question of how long the fans of "shelter in place" throughout the US would like to have those restrictions in place. A year? Ten years? The tighter the restrictions, the more people that will have never recovered from the disease and have developed complete immunity to it, so the bigger the flare-up each time the restrictions are eased. The disease won't be eradicated from the earth, so there will always be people actively spreading it to the non-immune portion of the population.
I cannot confirm that I had the China Virus. All I know is that I tested negative for the flu, and I had the weirdest symptoms, all of which match the China Virus. The oddest thing was the shortness of breath. Myself, wife, and most of our friends who got it are all in our mid-40s and exercise/workout. We would get winded going up a flight of stairs. Lots of people around here in Maryland experienced the same thing. Because we are close to DC, we have lots of foreign travelers. It was BIZARRE.
“just send a check my way.....Im tired of taking the brunt of peoples fear in my retirement account.....Im 66 and Ill never get it back...but you, you could send me money...”
What makes you think I am better off than you financially?
Your retirement account will bounce back, in time. Sorry for your financial losses, but I hope YOU are safe.
And if you want to blame someone besides the CCP, blame the people that are willing to defy recommended procedures for their own selfish interests and drag this thing out, apparently, for years. Namely, the FluBros.
