Flubros! Day 4 (Flubros only)
Www.freerepublic.com ^ | 21 March 2020 | Impimp

Flubros stay strong. People will attack us for saying this is an overblown and overhyped flu. We will be proven right in the end. A global economic depression will cost more lives than this social distancing will save.

They reprimanded one nurse at her hospital for wearing her own N95 mask as she walked in- they set up temperature monitoring stations at every entry for employees. They are temp scanned every shift and have to wear a sticker saying so.

I believe the hospital administrators are actually wanting this virus to infect as many as possible. Sickening.

I don’t blame you. You should be angry.

Bring it to the attention of the right authorities and I’ll bet they bring the hammer down on this hospital. You should be able to do it anonymously if your wife is worried about backlash.

Our Savior Lutheran in Mesquite TX. I don’t even look at the sign most times I drive by, but I’m angry just imaging what it says.

Sigh. Politics.
If you have the flu, and you are one of the unlucky ones (I hope you’re not)...here come the reporters knocking on the local featherbedding do-nothing health officals’ doors.

WHY DIDN’T YOU STOP THIS?

You can only blame Trump for so long when it’s clear he is doing all that is humanly possibly even while being actively sabotaged by some in the FDA and CDC.

The national reaction to the Chinese Virus, by comparison with past health scares, is both unprecedented and illogical.

It’s like having a flat tire, in the middle of the day, next to a tire shop, and instead of going into the shop we are curling up in a ball next the car, panicking, and/or running into the store next door to stock up on oil filters.

Did I hear VP Pence say today that 90% of the people who think the have the virus and get tested don't have it. That's alot of wasted test kits.

Agree - the measures and panic will have caused far more damage than the virus could...

“Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom. It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves.” ― William Pitt the Younger

Kind of ironic - we know that the Deep State and others use fear as a way to steer and control the people - we had the commie/nuke war threat until the Berlin Wall came down then it wasn’t viable anymore and up pops Globull Warming, which has many in fear that we’re gonna destroy the Earth even as we do less harm than past generations and none of the data actually supports anything but the earth’s climate and Mother Nature do not now, and never did have a “balance” and even if they did, we have no idea of how to maintain one or ‘fix’ things...all our efforts end up causing more harm....the coronavirus scare is no different - the panic-induced knee-jerking will cause more harm than the virus.

Folks who would be up in arms if the government decided to tell them they could not move freely are now begging that same government to lock them, and everyone else, down....I’d wager if, after doing that, the story ‘evolved” they would also go meekly to barb-wire surrounded camps/tent cities because the “latest info” said that’s the only way to stop it. Even though we know that they use fear to guide and control us, so many can’t see it through the red haze of insane panic....they not only welcome the government controls, they beg for them...

And the fear mongers will try to leverage it...

Reminds me of a saying that many FReepers, who are now acting insane, used to showcase:

“Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.” Ben Franklin

I agree huge amounts of random testing would stop this. But it has to be tens of millions of tests. Take every area with a high infection rate and test everyone. 100mm tests times $100 per test is $10 billion but we are spending $2 trillion to bail out the economy.

So far, NONE of the local emergency rooms and urgent care centers even have many patients. Each had 1-3 cars at best.

I want to know where this “shortage” of medical centers lie is coming from.

"The short amount of time that testing has occurred does not represent reality, IMO."

We are still Yugely under-testing.

CDC/NIH/FDAs' fault.
