You mean nobody in the media, of course.
That’s a given fact.
However, everyone can see it with their own eyes.
For many people what they know is still what the media tells them.
What a terrible, greedy, biased to their selfish wants media we have.
From your link....
A top New York City surgeon has issued two ominous memos, warning that the healthcare system could soon be overwhelmed and that healthcare workers are at risk.
In a memo made public by Columbia University’s Department of Surgery, the chair, Dr. Craig Smith, warned that “the virus has breached our Department walls” and colleagues are becoming infected.
He also warns that coronavirus cases could keep climbing, reaching their peak in 22 to 32 days.
At that point, the New York-Presbyterian health system could need up to 934 ICU beds more than are currently available. Columbia University’s hospital is affiliated with New York-Presbyterian.
Smith also emphasized a dire shortage of personal protective equipment, noting that health care workers are using 40,000 N95 masks per day, and are projected to soon need 70,000 per day.

One of New York City’s top surgeons issued a number of stark warnings in recent days about surging numbers of coronavirus patients and heightened risks to frontline healthcare workers.
Dr. Craig Smith, the surgeon-in-chief at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Irving Medical Center and the chair of Columbia University’s Department of Surgery, sounded the alarm Friday about projections that the hospital system could “reach peak COVID-19 volume within 22-32 days.”
At that point, New York-Presbyterian would need 700 to 934 intensive care unit beds. It won’t have 700, even as it works to increase its capacity, Smith wrote in a letter to his colleagues.
Spoke with an acquaintance from Brazil.
He said they already have 18 deaths, but the people living in the slums are partying in the streets like it’s extra vacation days.
It’s going to be bad there.
Not going to be nearly as many voting socialist next election.
Scouter:
I think your numbers are solid up to 3/26.
I would predict the curve will be bent a little bit from the banning of large gatherings a while back so we come in below your 4/3 number—but by how much?—that is above my pay grade.
There are also are real lab supplies and protective clothing constraints out there—I am not sure the states could actually do a million tests—even if they wanted to—and some jurisdictions are now saying they will only test health care workers and hospital patients.
Bottom line—this is going to start getting weird, and the data is going to start getting more and more unreliable.
For at least 10 days governors in hotspots across the nation have taken assertive action, and hopefully slowed this plague.
But not Andrew Cuomo. He insisted NY burn to the ground.
New York has more than 10,000 coronavirus cases and over half of them are patients younger than 50, governor says

Just one more federalism remark.
The time for Governors to act was last month, early, before it became a national issue.
Promise no more... for now LOL!
Absolutely, positively go there. Get a porterhouse and eat it with your hands in the parking lot. You won’t regret it.
I agree with you. The projections are only as good as the data reported. And as things get crazy, I'm not sure that accurate reporting, and even testing, are going to be a priority. Another factor comes into play, too. As more and more people are infected, it will become harder for the virus to find an uninfected victim. So the math behind these projections has a limited lifespan. I just don't know when it will begin to break down.

Informative thread on coding of deaths.
Italy codes all deaths of people with covid as caused by covid- NOT the co-morbidity. Other countries not so much. China not at all.
And try out the Doc’s barbeque on Maze Boulevard not far west of Highway 99. It’s on the south side of Maze, just after the first stop light, and has the best BBQ ribs in the county.
Either way they are clinically psychopaths and/or sociopaths. They are neither conservative or American. Their type were around during WW2. There was a loud minority who sided with Hitler after Pearl Harbor.
Excellent point! I had not thought of that. I just assumed that it would be reported as a COVID-19 death by all non-communist countries. Silly me.
unverified video btw.
Based on the Worldometer graphs, the date for shutdowns was February 23. Can you imagine the people who have trouble with math and are given to wild conspiracy theories today would have handled it then?
They have a 23oz porterhouse.
and it’s got my name on it.
Governments always do the right thing about 1 or 1.5 incubation periods too late.
Thx...I keep wondering...WE are not eating out...my husband refuses
I grew up not far from doc’s.
now that i’m back home i’ll have to try it.
