Dianainwisconsin's weekly gardening thread---with great ideas for gardeners, and recipes for the pickings.

Also, looming out there on the horizon is another site
offering ideas:

THE BIG SPUD
http://www.bigspud.com/

for those who have a fondness for potatoes.

Fresh baked bread and home made baked potato soup. Yum! (especially with grated cheddar and bacon bits added to the soup... yum, yum!)

Wow, Great post, thanks! Awesome app too - just downloaded kindle fire version - sweet!Currently using ‘Paprika’ app for recipes & ‘Our Groceries’ for shopping lists. Will see if there is a way to transfer all to one place in ‘Big Oven’ Something fun to play with when you have a little extra time on your hands ;)

I consider myself a cooking explorer, favoring the cuisines of the Caucuses region... but am using this corona virus time to use up my stash of doomsday supplies.
Which basically translates to using tins of cold water rich in omega 3 fish in low carb combinations with vegetables etc.
I splurged and ordered tins of Portuguese sardines in olive oil, which means I can use the whole can and just squeeze a lemon or vinegar over the emptied tin if I’m having a salad. Adding some grated parmesan, if I’m eating fish with frozen spinach and kale.
