My wife (gourmet cook on our self-sufficient organic farm) recommends this site to friends who want to organize and try new ideas for cooking.

There’s gonna be a lot of fat f..cks when this is over.
Looks good! Thanks!
Also, looming out there on the horizon is another site
offering ideas:
THE BIG SPUD
http://www.bigspud.com/
for those who have a fondness for potatoes.
Fresh baked bread and home made baked potato soup. Yum! (especially with grated cheddar and bacon bits added to the soup... yum, yum!)
crock pot
3 to 5lb pork tenderloin
juice and 1/2 bottle of jalapenos
1 - 2 lbs baby carrots
3 - 5 lbs potatoes
garlic
black pepper
1-2 cup water
carrots take away most of the heat but leave a spicy flavor
make gravy from the drippings
shred any leftover meat and add bbq sauce for quick pork sandwiches
thats the sliced jalapenos
Wow, Great post, thanks! Awesome app too - just downloaded kindle fire version - sweet!Currently using ‘Paprika’ app for recipes & ‘Our Groceries’ for shopping lists. Will see if there is a way to transfer all to one place in ‘Big Oven’ Something fun to play with when you have a little extra time on your hands ;)
I dont know about that, restaurant food (other than salads) will put on more weight than home cooking. Theres a reason it tastes so good!
Especially since NYS has shuttered all the nice parks to use for walkies...
Thanks-we are remodeling so I have no kitchen. Crockpot meals every night and I need new ideas.
Maybe and maybe not.
Home cooked food tends to be less fattening than take out.
That sounds delicious....a must-eat.
Thank you sir !
I love the YouTube channel Food Wishes.
Hi, Liz. Hope all is well.
I’ve been making Chicken with 40 Cloves of Garlic for a while now and it seems like the perfect Corona Virus antidote! Who is going to come near us with THAT? I buy pre-peeled garlic to make it easier. A wonderfully unctuous dish as the garlic melds into a sweet sauce.
Drop it in the crock pot (add no water or liquid it will make it's own)
Sprinkle a full pouch of Onion Soup mix on top
Set on low and let it cook all day
That's it! And the flavor is Delicious! The meat so tender you can pull it apart with a fork! Simple!
*You can add Potatoes and carrots etc. if you want. I never do.
This is TOTALLY my Wheelhouse. I love to cook and bake. :)
Thanks for the Ping, Liz!
