What are families doing and what are plans during this odd time.
I am in house and keeping busy. Summer in the south.. already.
It’s the 15%.
Or does that somehow escape your attention?
Or do you think they just evaporate and don’t overwhelm the healthcare system?
Nothing.
15% will get medical attention and only 5% will require hospitalization.........Not worth anyone's attention.
Apparently, you are not aware of the capacity of the hospitals and availability of life saving devices?
How about you, then go and volunteer to decide who lives and who dies?
And you don't recognize the fact that all the cases will not occur in one day and in one location. With at least 8 hospitals within an 18 mile radius of me here in S.E Michigan, it's unlikely any of them will be overwhelmed any time soon..nor will they in the future.
Talked to a buddy in Puerto Rico last night. He says they are under an island wide dusk to dawn curfew and a virtual lockdown during the day. One family member alone may go to the grocery, pharmacy or doctor. No walking to parks or beaches. 125 arrests in east island for violation. Police checkpoints to stop drivers and verify.
He went there after the hurricane two years back on a mission trip. Came home, retired from the carpenters union early, and his wife joined him doing island recovery work for the last two years.
Making meatball and sauce for supper.
Search by "George Bull Unimog.
He is who I got both of mine from. Very happy.
Poke around his site, very interesting. Especially their Africa trip and Unimog info.
Then to a Victron controller to deep cycle battery.
Thanks, checking out now.
I may go with humvee if no unimogs around.
No it is 20% that require hospitalization. 5% of the original 100% of cases will need ICU. As for the medical system being overwhelmed, yes it is being overwhelmed. Maybe not where you are at but New York is having a horrible time of it. Albany Georgia has been overwhelmed because of one selfish a$$hole in Atlanta who knew he had it and decided he needed to go to a funeral. Nearly 400 people with it and most are directly tied to him. The hospital has been on national tv begging for supplies because they ran through 5 months of supplies in 6 days. So glad it doesn’t affect you, but do those of us whom it does affect a favor and shut up about things you know nothing about.
Maybe it's you who should shut up instead of hysterically running around shouting the sky is falling when it's not..........85% of those testing positive have either mild cold symptoms or none at all.........
Go hide in a bunker for the next six months to save yourself...........Sheesh!
Do us all a favor, post an article substantiating your claim........thanks
If you are interested in an unfinished room gig in SC, let me know.
I’ll get to it some day.
That’s clever!
“Reading ‘The Pilgrims Progress’ by John Bunyan.”
So when I say that I live in The Slough Of Despond, you’ll get it? Most people don’t. (I hate my house.)
When my sister asked her four-year-old granddaughter what she was doing, the answer was, “We’re hiding from The Birus!”
Lots of snowshoeing. Local ski mountain closed. Some fishing.
I sure enjoyed the comments on this thread.. touching base in a strange week.. strange times.. you are all out there..coping very well.
I’m glad President Trump is at the helm...
and .. Thanks to all Freepers!
Was going to move to GA. House fell through, so now I turn-on TV and see Baker telling us we all going to die in the dark, starving.
