Day # 20 here:

Los Angeles Lakers
@Lakers
We learned today that two Lakers players have tested positive for COVID-19. Both players are currently asymptomatic, in quarantine and under the care of the teams physician.
Disregard my previous post. The Washington state DOH has now added the negative tests onto their website.
They now show that the positives are seven percent of the positives.
That was the Seattle researchers on their own. I am not even sure they asked the governor’s permission early on, or that the governor even knew about it.
But, to ask private labs to violate the FDA rules is over the top. They can get their business shut down in a heart-beat—and private lab testing is necessary to go to scale.
Idiocracy is the future.
Not ‘over the top’ for the state to do it’s Constitutional job though.
Hey, I know everyone thinks the Feds are the only real government.
Sometimes it just ain’t so.
Ping.
Johns Hopkins got the kungflu.net domain. Love it!
Thanks, Jane.
The states were faced with minimal testing as a reality early on—most states had neither the knowledge nor capacity to deal with it—even if they had wanted to do so.
With that reality, the governors needed to notify hospitals that a highly contagious disease that could not be tested on any scale was in the wild, and they needed to take necessary precautions to protect their staff before allowing any new patients into the hospital.
When you don’t know who is positive, you have to assume everyone is positive.
Went back to the gun store today to pick up some cleaning supplies. They not only selling out of handguns, shotguns, and rifles, they are out of cleaning kits.
I think America is arm up to the teeth now.
Yeah, but ‘why’?
And how much does J Hopkins get from the Chinese Communist Party?
Thank you for Coronavirus Thread #21!
All invasive medical procedures, including those conducted through an existing orifice, are on my permanent “do not do” list and am willing to sustain the consequences.
Thanks for the ping, Agnes!
Again: “Just nope.”
I was surprised to learn how far genetic testing has come. Astonished even!
But every state has several hospitals able to identify viruses. So they all could have tested.
I am going to guess Antonio Davis based on a picture I saw.

Not at scale—not at a scale that mattered.
