Most are just stupid. Let's just be honest about it. I used to think they were just foolish and made very poor choices. It's more than that. They are just dumb.

It's not that they just don't get it, yet, or have some emotional defense mechanism protecting them. They are incapable of understanding it.

They are perfect isolation facilities for those who don’t have to be in hospital. NOT hotels with shared HVAC.

Actually, I think they're planning on using the ships for non-COVID-19 patients so they can free up space in the land-based hospitals for the COVID-19 patients.
