Jeff Zeleny is CNN’s senior Washington correspondent dedicated to covering President Trump, and he couldn’t help but editorialize a bit when Trump said it would have been helpful to have known about the coronavirus sooner, but thanks to China, we didn’t. Zeleny says Trump is ignoring the fact that his administration knew about the coronavirus threat “long before” it began to act in a serious way.

I’m sure this completely ignorant story will be his talking point tomorrow. Of course, it walks right into my responses about how China is 100% at fault, whether intentional or not. They unleashed a major global catastrophe and tried to cover it up.
Virtually as soon as we found out about it, Trump sealed the borders from Chinese travelers and began an all out effort of containment. But that’s not good enough for the never trump crowd.
CNN is not a particularly helpful entity when it comes to the public at large.

I am full to the gills with the media/demoncrats lying. This virus outbreak has smoked them out as far as I’m concerned. We see who they truly are. This tweet from Jeff Zeleny has put me over the edge. And Pelosi, trying to put abortion funding into the relief bill for this outbreak, DISGUSTING. If that doesn’t show America who they are, then all hope is lost for half the country.

Seems to me that CNN with their pathological obsession with impeachment and trying to scrape up anything they could use to attack the President INSTEAD OF COVERING THE REAL NEWS, in effect, helped the Chinese government cover up the coronavirus danger.

In brighter news, there will be benefits resulting from this mess. China is screwed, they know it, which explains this action and others. The biggest benefit may be the end of our financing China's military buildup, which they someday planned to use to enforce world hegemony and rule the world.
