I suppose this could be considered a waste of time, but I thought it might be a good ongoing thread to track cases of the Corona virus that are directly or tangentially impacting Freepers.
We have 2 indirect contacts I know of so far.
Since youre right next door Im guessing we had pretty much the same cootie float through here. Im guessing the little people all brought it home from the indoctrination centers. It seems like everyone in the village caught it about the same time. A little bit of phlegm then “CONK” asleep for 2 or three days.
I decided to check local news online. Little Silver, NJ has three cases. One is a 27 yr. old man who had gone to the BioGen meeting in Boston. They wouldn’t, his posts are designed to panic as many as read them and to take down President Trump
His posts are diametrically opposite President trumps words and actions.
I have no doubt that the Chicoms would unleash this beast to crash the world economy to bring down their enemy.
Killing a few million of their own citizens and enforcing government thuggery to bring down dissent (Hong Kong) and reinforce state supremacy is the way I’d do it were I a commie leader with no morals.
They know their people will fare much better through the economic hardships than we will.

As of yesterday, 27 cases, no deaths in Wisconsin. I don’t know any of them, not even second-hand. Wisconsin’s population is 5,814,000.
(That’s 5.814 MILLION for those reading in Rio Linda!)
More people will DIE in a car crash today, than will come down with this flu bug.
However our Dem Governor is in full-blown panic mode. Schools, businesses, restaurants, Government buildings, major Universities and churches are shut down. Panic buying in the major metro areas of water and TP.
We ‘Country Bumpkins’ are panic free and doing just fine. :)
Don’t think for a second that the rest of us, including Travis, don’t understand how important you and those like you are to humanity.
As the tribe of society travels down the trail of time people like Travis are constantly calling out, “That rock might have a snake under it, that shrubbery might have a commie in it, and that thing on the path might be a tripwire!”

Travis learned to look ahead for potential danger so his corpse wouldn’t be lost in a jungle somewhere. Without people like you teaching us to listen to him many more would stumble through life not recognizing the dangers in otherwise seemingly perfectly safe scenarios.
For that we all owe you a debt of gratitude.

How quickly things change. Being sent home from work because I’m symptomatic and my son is quarantined. Wife too though she shows no symptoms. Boss is FANTASTIC about it, but it all feels...weird.
My wife helps out our elderly neighbors. The husband had to go to ER and spend a week in the hospital. Then two weeks in assisted care.
After the week in the hospital (and visiting him every day) we found out the first guy to die in the USA was on the same floor (Kirkland, WA).
Three days before he was let out of the rehab place (which my wife visited often) we found out two people there had had it and died.
He is on Day 4 of home isolation and we are dropping stuff off for them at the door as they need it. My wife’s doctor told her that her exposure was probably limited, so just be aware of how you are feeling.
Of course now when either of us wake up with a scratchy throat....!
I’m guessing that there are a thousand or more cases around us and have been for awhile. Three weeks ago I was at the store and the cashier was dazed, confused, wouldn’t talk, and looked like she was about to pass out - the guy in front of me with his young daughter was freaked. I was too.
