Here’s the problem. Trump asked people to take it easy when shopping but it was a weekday, daytime presser and who watches those? 1% of the population maybe? Meanwhile, all people see is the MSM showing vids of empty shelves, people fighting over TP etc so what do people do? They run out and get TP and food while they still can.

I've had the same thought that it was probably introduced earlier here in the Bay Area as well as other major international air hubs in the US. Maybe not as early as Nov or Dec, but probably early January. If that were the case, I wonder why it failed to take off concurrently with China? Why the lag?
