thread # 17 is here...

Is that google docs spreadsheet still active and current? I wanted to know which states have tested the most. Here in MN, we’ve tested 1893 with 54 positive. I think we’re one of the states with the larger testing population especially compared to positive cases.
That's not possible. Our country will be completely bankrupt long before that point. Medical need MUST be balanced with economic security. We have no choice. I give the draconian crap about two weeks tops.
No, it's not.
This is a SHTF situation and all bets are off.
No, it's not.
That’s about how long Americans will allow themselves to not be free. I’ve been blue collar all my life and I doubt the shops like I’ve worked at will even take that two weeks off. Owners can’t afford it, workers can’t afford it. Luckily, I think American’s independent spirit lives on.(not including certain coastal/city people) At the same time, I think most are bright enough to not take chances with this thing.(again, excluding the same people as above)
I was telling my sister, when I lived in MA, the sheet metal shop wouldn’t tell us to head on home until there was a foot of snow already and it was still coming down heavy. Years later in FL, they wouldn’t send us home until shit was blowing around the yard when a hurricane was coming. Capitalism will win the day.
>>> Sean Lin, PhD in microbiology and former director of the Virology Laboratory at the former Walter Reed Army Institute in the United States, believes that it is extremely unusual for the amino acid sequences of the E proteins of Wuhan virus and Zhoushan virus to be 100% identical. Because E protein has an indispensable effect on the virus morphology, assembly, budding, and virus pathogenicity of β-type coronavirus. If the virus changes the host, many cytokines will change, and the E protein will necessarily have corresponding changes to adjust the virus synthesis and pathogenicity.
>>> He further pointed out: The genes of the E protein and the genes of the S protein are adjacent to each other. In the viral RNA replication process, these two genes also need to complete the production of subgenomic RNA (subgenomic RNA) to complete replication, which also involves similar Intracellular factors and viral RNA polymerase, so the error rate of gene replication during this process is also similar. Therefore, there is no reason that during the natural viral replication process, the S protein has various mutations, while the E protein remains completely similar with the entire host transformed. This is basically impossible to happen naturally.
This is basically impossible to happen naturally.
This is basically impossible to happen naturally.
That deserves a thread of it’s own.
If you don’t want to post it, I will.
Awesome!
Thank for the classic rock musical ride! I enjoyed that a lot.
Thanks for that link.
Here is the state by state spreadsheet:
It tells you when the data has been updated.
If you go to the states tab it gives you a link to each state so you can check for any later updates.
We are now entering into the territory of the impossible.
We have had legions of Freepers tell us over and over again that everything that has happened so far is “impossible”.
Nothing is impossible with this disease.
Nothing.

Jérôme Salomon, Director of Health:
...
Young people are also affected
...
According to Jérôme Salomon, “we often have young people, half of the people in ICU are under 65. Just over 10% of deaths are under the age of 65. But there are few cases among minors. ***From the age of 25, 30 year old, there are increasingly severe forms and no underlying pathology.”****

The New Jersey numbers are stunning.
They have only tested 338 people.
178 were positive.
MEXICO
Coronaviruses in Mexico reach 82, reports Salud
The new balance represents an increase of 29 confirmed cases in a single day, after 53 were registered this Sunday.

I totally agree. People are playing ball "for the greater good" right now, but the screws are tightening on a lot of people. I wouldn't blame them one bit for breaking out of this self-imposed straight jacket.
What is that supposed to mean? It's a respiratory disease. It's not black magic.
