I’ve been blue collar all my life and I doubt the shops like I’ve worked at will even take that two weeks off. Owners can’t afford it, workers can’t afford it. Luckily, I think American’s independent spirit lives on.

I totally agree. People are playing ball "for the greater good" right now, but the screws are tightening on a lot of people. I wouldn't blame them one bit for breaking out of this self-imposed straight jacket.
