The recovery rate from covid-19 for healthy individuals under age 65 is 99%. Nah much less onerous disease than N1H1 of 2009 season. Covid-19 is much less dangerous than plague, drug-resistant-TB, syphilis, AIDS, yellow fever, Ebola or Leprosy, all of which are alive in many places today in the world.
Fauci is a moron. If he’s telling trump we got it from Europe . If it was in China In November it was here before the end of the month. It’s been here. Guaranteed people will freak out when people turn up positive y’all over but they will figure out no mass death is occuring. I think some of the flu deaths this winter were from this. I just can imagine Americans are so dumb to start believing the media and this fauci moron. I can tell you we had a nasty flu since December here in New Hampshire . One of my older friends spent a week In the hospital but she’s fine now. No panic then and obviously if this guy or the cdc was worth half a crap they’d realize it’s been here unless they believe we have a magic force field protecting us when 100s of thousands of Chinese were flying back I forth for 3 months before trump stopped it.

look at the world wide numbers since November. China had 4,000’deatgs this thing if it kills you would be almost like winning a death lottery. It’s been killing people In the states since shortly after it landed In china. So some of the flu deaths have the corona mixed it but it’s still a fraction of what it should be for some sort of cataclysmic pandemic. 5-6k dead since November. That’s a lot less then cheeseburgers .
He is tellling Trump that Europe is the center of increased covid activity. Before last night hundreds of people from Italy were landing innthe US every day while none from China have been since January. The numbers in Italy and now Spain are scary. That’s what Fauci was referencing. China started this but we have to concern ourselves with stopping it and Europe is where we start.

When did they start testing for it ? Just recently . It’s been here already , everyone just assumed it was the flu because it’ doesn’t have a higher mortality rate then a flu and has the same symptoms. They can make it look like it came from anywhere because it’s all over the place already. Been here all winter . No mass graves either. Test any place there will be people with it.

My impression is that he is doing a good job and deserves Trump’s support. Unless I am mistaken, he is not responsible for the spectacular failure in testing rollout. Whoever is should be fired immediately and very publicly. Plus those that think government-knows-best and held tight centralized control of testing—fire them, too.
