Sounds to me like you’re being uncommonly paranoid.
Is it your belief that someone that is competent and doing a good job should be fired because people you don’t politically agree with also think that person is doing a good job?

AFAIK, he looking at this from a public health perspective and not a political one.
Dr Fauci is doing his job just fine, thank you. He has done nothing to deserve firing that I’ve seen. President Trump has set up a great and competent team to manage this outbreak under his leadership.

I don’t give a crap either way. Common flu Death rate per the total infected is 0.1%. Projected infected to death rate of covid-19 is 1%. Ten times common flu. The issues are math. We don’t know how many infected by covid virus and have history with the common flu. I don’t particularly like the guy but his comparison of the numbers we have so far rung true. The CDC didn’t hit the ground running in early January, not Trumps fault.

I think Fouci is doing an okay job. And Trump has faith in him, and I have faith in Trump.
I was actually critical of Fouci early on, because I thought he was downplaying the crisis too much.
I think now he’s communicating the same facts, that I’ve been seeing.
Pelosi's fault actually. There was this thing going on called impeachment, lest anyone forget.
He seems like a very good doctor. In fact, he reminds me of our own doctor, who is very good. And he’s backing Trump 100% so I don’t see a problem here.
They just love him because he’s a doctor and wasn’t previously part of Trump’s daily inner circle, therefore they try to cast him as a savior since Orange Man Bad.
I don’t see it as anything nefarious on Dr. Fauci’s part.
Plus, many of the ignorant WH press had probably never heard of Fauci even though he’s well known, so it’s like they’ve gotten a new toy.
