His remarks were fair at best. Who wrote the thing? So many items that simply needed some clarity and they blew it. Providing accurate details adds credibility of the messenger.

I also would have liked to have heard more specifics about the virus, the ongoing efforts to contain it, the emergency measures ready to be rolled out...whatever. Specifics. Did I need to hear these so that I can regain my composure? No. I needed for OTHERS to hear this. The voters that switched over to Trump last election. The voters that are thinking of doing so this time. The Black voters. The Hispanic voters. The young voters who are starting to grow up and are almost ready to put away their childish notions about how Democrats have the right (government) answers to all their problems (instead of realizing all/most of their answers lie within - and ABOVE). These are the folks for whom I wanted the President to be specific.
Oh, and for the media buffoons, too. I wanted them to hear more so that they could spend their countless hours nitpicking over those specifics and look all the more foolish in doing so. Their pettiness helps remove the masks they wear for the voting groups mentioned above.
I hope they are right.
Has anyone in TheTrump administration said why the UK and Ireland were excluded from the travel ban? Perhaps they will serve as limited portals for American citizens to return to the USA.
Yahoo and Business Insider are working the confused leadership angle twisting what was said and do it by claiming this and that were walkbacks without citing specifics. That accusation should be met with demanding proof when and where that was done and sources counter charged with being called “Liars”
