It began long before last night. Trump can help but he and Pence can only do so much. The impact mainly depends on the American people themselves and whether they take this seriously and curtail mingling and spreading.
One thing Trump and Pence can do is stop shaking hands and mingling with people that have covid-19. We don’t want them getting it and spreading it around themselves which would be politically embarrassing.
