I think being drunk would be the best defense he could hope for.
He’s mentally ill.

Poor Alex. He still doesn’t understand it’s not about the evidence but the seriousness of the charge.

Jones had a blood alcohol level of 0.076 at 11:55 p.m. and a level of 0.079 at 11:59 p.m. The legal blood alcohol limit while driving in Texas is 0.08

There’s a courtroom. Argue it there. Hate entitled jackasses like this.

It may not matter. In many states you can be charged with drunk driving even if you’re below the legal limit — as long as there is other sufficient evidence of impairment.

ALEX JONES ARRESTED, CLEARED OF DWI – BLEW UNDER LEGAL LIMIT
Jones caught up in a Travis Co. DWI dragnet after county criticized for low number of arrests

Alex Jones was cleared of a ‘driving while intoxicated’ charge by blowing less than a 0.08 – the legal limit in Texas for DWI – which in itself is an incredibly low threshold.

Jones was pulled over Monday night in Travis County for speeding 45 mph in a 40-mph zone.

The paperwork shows that Jones admitted to drinking a small amount of sake at a Japanese restaurant hours before with his wife, which was proven truthful after the breathalyzer test showed a tiny amount of alcohol – well under the legal limit in the Lone Star State.

Travis Co. has been criticized for its low number of DWI arrests, which has triggered a countywide dragnet, according to police sources.

“It was quite the experience to see what was going on in this country and to experience it myself,” Jones said on his radio show Tuesday.

He can still be charge if he admits to drinking alcohol before getting behind the wheel of a car

When the officer asks “have you been drinking”

always say “no”

Let them prove it

a “yes” is an admittance to guilt and you can still be arrested for DWI regardless of what some test shows.

Whatever you do, always believe what the inbred imbecile fakestream presstitutes tell you to believe.

It will serve you well in the camps.

Not that i like alex jones, but there is a anothr 50 post thread on this with no followup. People like throwing out the arrest story but don’t want to hear the rest of the story. He blew under a 0.08 which is the legal limit in texas (which is already low) and was apparently stopped for just slightly speeding over the limit.

Nonsense, it's the same limit in every state.

Also Alex Jones was pulled over during a dragnet where the police will pull you over for anything. It is just one step below a DUI checkpoint and I consider this type of enforcement abusive of American’s rights.

Exactly.
Where I live it seems like police policy to arrest everyone who admits to having a drink.
Unless you know someone...*wink wink nudge nudge*...there is STILL ‘professional courtesy’ to fall back on.

Blowing under the number does not clear you

Blowing over the number provides more evidence

There was a bill passed by Clinton that nationalized the limit at .08. Also below the age of 21 it is set at 0. Above .08 there are varying additional penalty limits. Outside the US the limit also varies as well as the degree of penalties.

Funny that. It is federally forced even though it is not within their powers.

CDC is trying to push it down to 0.05
Mormons want 0.03
And Sweden is 0.01
