This is like that old refrain:

Easier with an upright freezer. Stocks on the top shelf. Chicken on the next. Pork on the 3rd. Beef below that. Door and basket for veggies and odd sized packages.

They are pathetic. It’s systemic to our culture. You have to watch it very carefully, listen to how they parse words, and constantly think to yourself, “What are they trying to make me think and do, and why are they trying to make me think and do that?”
We criticize other countries for their propaganda, but no one has really elevated manipulating the public to the art form that we have.

I think her point is that until we get a baseline of accurate tests it is difficult to generate any widely applicable statistics.
And, there are a lot of different terms being bandied about, by people within the healthcare community and general public. That leads to confusion.

Your use of containment and mitigation might differ from theirs.
Honestly, I expect any containment efforts to be useless in about two weeks.
The government is useless and helpless. Their intent from the start is to let this run wild. NOTHING they said in the press conference indicates anything to change my mind. Not even sure why they do this shit show.
