Nadine Dorries, a health minister, has become first MP to be diagnosed with coronavirus
She has been in Westminster for past week, met hundreds of people, and attended a No 10 reception hosted by Boris Johnson on Thursday
SD cases all travelled out of state
Officials say South Dakota has its first cases of COVID-19, the disease caused by the new coronavirus.
The announcement came in a press release from Governor Kristi Noem’s office.
Noem said in a press conference that there have been five cases in the state, and one person has died.
Noem said the person who died, a man in his 60’s, had underlying health conditions and it’s unclear whether COVID-19 might have caused the death.
The person who died, was from Pennington County, health officials said. The other four cases were reported across four other counties. All patients had recently traveled outside of South Dakota, but not necessarily internationally.
