I have fought Type 2 myself for 20 years.
It’s been a struggle for me as well.
I have found out the hard way, when I don’t test my
Blood at least once a day, that is when I lose control.
So I test it once a day in the morning.
And I don’t eat after 4PM.
When I test, I know what I have to do that day.
And usually I can eat 2 portioned meals a day.
Prayers that all goes well. And get that sugar down ASAP.
A new generic long lasting insulin called Bascular, a once
a night shot(a pen) is available. It’s much cheaper than Levimir.
And most insurance covers it.
At an average of 300 your a1c is right at 12.
Eating portioned meals and using Bascalar has helped me
get a day to day handle on my blood sugar.

I’m lifting you up. You need to read up on magnesium deficiency and how you can’t control blood sugar when mag is low. Here’s one article but there’s a ton of information out there. Get mag glycinate and/or mag malate (these are the 2 most absorbable forms)
