I spoke to Dean. He sounds very good. His voice sounded stronger than last week by quite a bit.
He’s hopping to be home early April,
He needs time to get stronger before they can do the surgery on the area in the colon that was leaking.
It’s healed but they don’t trust it to stay healed long term.
So he’ll rest maybe 3 or 4 months at home and then get it done.
Barring any new leaks, he is well on his way to full recovery.
He thanks everyone so much for all of your prayers.
Fresh update this morning.
I send them out as I get them.
Thank you all.
Now I can use a farmer to help me pull a tree stump out of the ground. My back hurts. ha

Before the cancer he would throw a LOT of 50 pounds bales of hay on a truck and he was 65 at the time.
you have to be a beast to beat a YEAR LONG sepsis infection ((in 2016-17), pneumonia several times, a coma..
Prayer is strong
It doesn’t make sense not praying. Even if one doesn’t really believe anymore.
It’s free and it’s easy and even 15 minutes at night would help.
And in the process bring a person closer to God.
And it ended up you’re just talking to yourself (you’re not) what did you lose?
Prayer has been PROVEN to lower blood pressure, relieve anxiety and other health benefits.
I guess it’s kind of like meditation in calming you down.
But praying is a much better choice

Continuing to declare GOD’S Promises of healing on Farmer Dean:
He said, “If you will listen carefully to the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, obeying His commands and keeping all His decrees, then I will not make you suffer any of the diseases I sent on the Egyptians; for I am the Lord who heals you.”
Exodus 23:25: “You must serve only the Lord your God. If you do, I will bless you with food and water, and I will protect you from illness.
Psalm 91:9-10: If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home.
Psalm 91:14-16: The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love Me. I will protect those who trust in My name. When they call on Me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them. I will reward them with a long life and give them My salvation.”
Psalm 103:1-5: Let all that I am praise the Lord; with my whole heart, I will praise His holy name. Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things He does for me. He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases.
He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies. He fills my life with good things. My youth is renewed like the eagle’s!

That is wonderful news, thanks for the update.
You have NO IDEA the beatings I took in life because I refused to believe or heed God’s MANY warnings that he gave me that I was headed for bad times.
I’m 51. A few permanent scars but nothing I can’t live with :)
And I KNOW there’s a God.
I don’t think it.
And getting through this life without him makes things SO MUCH harder.
And God is Great. I was told over a dozen years ago that I had a 2 year recovery window to heal from a very bad injury.
So MANY of the bad symptoms went away YEARS later.
One as recent as last year. 10 years after they said that was not a possibility.
Anything is possible with God
