I did that too sometimes. I was so happy when sponge rollers came out, I remember sleeping on the hard ones when I was a kid. Or, would have to sit under the hairdryer with cap.
On an everyday basis, I just had wash and go hair, permed or straight. Always had real long hair until about 10 years ago.

I have faught with my hubby for many years because he pays money for the very liberal Louisville Courier Journal Paper. I made it a habit to run over the paper/made sure is was out in the rain so I parked to expose it/Never pick it up and bring it into the house/parked so it would be under my car/pretty much ran out of new ideas(LOL). Today while he's out playing golf...I went to One America News and bought subscription for 5 dollars a month. Lets see what he has to say when he realizes it..LOL I'm starting to actually learn how to use our many Smart TVs!....................after all............I'm not a blonde anymore..LOL

I'm starting to actually learn how to use our many Smart TVs!....................after all............I'm not a blonde anymore..LOLWhen I was younger I was a "Summer Blonde" from out of the box.
But when I started having kids it was just too much trouble to keep up.
My natural hair is what is termed "dishwater blonde" but now I have so many grey highlights I'm not sure what I am.

These lighthearted posts about hair-do's and botox and working from home brought a thought to mind.
When this crisis breaks and the self isolation winds down the rush on every kind of personal service is going to be like a dam breaking.
Right now people are going without their routine haircuts, hair dye and style, teeth cleaning and dental work, new fingernails, pedicures, eye exams, auto maintenance, etc.
When the post crisis rush begins we will be fortunate to get an appointment for any type of service before Thanksgiving!
It will be like a continuouus, non-stop Black Friday at every service provider and retail store in the nation.
People will be flooding the restaurants, pubs and clubs and shopping their butts off too!
The pent up demand and backlog is going to send the economy off like a skyrocket.
I would bet that even the coming Christmas season shopping will be monstrous.
That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!
