Women don’t use hair rollers anymore, rely on styling wands which I call a curling iron.

Some don’t curl but make the hair look like you stuck your finger into a lamp socket and your hair is just long z’s.

I found some interesting info on what drugs the Iranians are using against the coronavirus. It devastated Iran, even in the top echelon, but seems to be easing off (if their numbers can be believed). The info was posted below by Dr Avery Knapp on his twitter feed.

1. Mild case - walk in: oseltamivir + hcq
2. Hospitalized but not in icu/not severe: oseltamivir + hcq + lopanivir/ritonavir
3. Severe: oseltamivir + hcq + lopanivir/ritonavir + ribavirin

Interesting they’re using HCQ in ALL cases. Lopanivir/ritonavir is tradename Kaletra. I’ve seen Australia is testing that along with HCQ but I haven’t seen it mentioned for North America. It’s an antiretroviral used in HIV. Ribavarin is used to combat hepatitis-C. Oselamivir is in the ingredient in Tamiflu, found effective against SARS.

Maybe their medication usage is helping ease their crisis.

China is still, for most Chinese, a very poor country. US PC gdp is around 8 times that of China. Even poorer Americans are mostly massively healthier, wealthier and happier than the average Chinese.I think it unlikely that China will catch the US any time soon (any more than previous champions of growth - Sweden, Japan, Germany - have done). On the Africa thing, what the Chinese are doing is straightforward colonialism.

I just heard all deaths are being recorded as Covid 19 regardless & there is no actual Covid 19 test- just corona.

I saw tweets this morning by different hospital workers claiming just this.

A death from pneumonia was put in the CV column.

A death from the flu was put in the CV column.

I used sponge rolls in my hair for 15 years because I had to get up at 4:30am. I never knew if the electric would be on for electric rolls and some times I wore bottom layers to bed. I am cold most of the time so no one saw the bottom layers. Doing this I could do more with our family as eating out and not getting in bed until 10:30 or 11:00. It really cut down my prepare time in the morning. Shower also at night and clothes laid out along with shoes.
