“God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear, even though the earth be removed,
And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
Though its waters roar and be troubled,
Though the mountains shake with its swelling.
There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God,
The holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High.
God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved;
God shall help her, just at the break of dawn.
The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved;
He uttered His voice, the earth melted.
The Lord of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge.”
Psalm 46

While some choose to criticize, I know @realDonaldTrump , @VP , and all of the members of the corona virus task force are working long hours to do the best they can for the American people. We should all want them to succeed. We should all be grateful for their leadership.
Exactly! He proved Trump's point in front of everyone. Of course when it re-airs on CNN they will only play the half-quote.
Very nice and thank you for posting this.
Hands down best speech/press conference our @POTUS has ever had. it was presidential... it was human... it was what we Americans needed to hear. He kept it real he went with the Doctors not party not economy. Not even his own beliefs. Thank you Mr President. #nuffsaid— Tyrus (@PlanetTyrus) March 29, 2020
President Trump gave a somber conclusion to the press conference. Everyone in attendance were subdued. The severity of this is hitting home.
My iobject refuses to open it ,but I get the gist from Google . Look tomorrow.
But it does seem to fit. :D
I was expecting some good news, too, gub. My thinking was that this drug, given the great results it seems to have had when used, would be going to every hospitalized person in the country to start. Then prescribed to anyone with symptoms who tests positive. Also given immediately to health care workers, grocery store employees, and anyone with constant exposure, so they don’t get the virus. I don’t understand why they’re planning as if the drugs are not in existence.
They have an announcement of sorts planned for Tuesday, and I’m hoping that they are going to let us know of the great results of the hydroxychloroquine....and a subsequent plan of attack, thereby possibly opening the country up sooner. I am not understanding this at all.
Better face than sorry.
Didn’t have a name....go on, have a guess.
I’ll give you a starter for 10: My first is in Car but not in Dog. :)
Most fitting.
I hope it’s something like that, NIKK.
I hope they have been ramping up the production of these medications and are ready to go full throttle with everyone in hospital, workers on the front lines, and everyone with symptoms or without who tests positive.
I hope you don’t depend on China for this medication.
Its good the President is accessible to the media. But these press conferences should go no longer than 30 mins. When it goes this long, the press tends to runs out of science-based or substantive Qs. And POTUS cant resist smacking them. Shorten these things.— Ari Fleischer (@AriFleischer) March 29, 2020
