Everyone knows that Sen. Charles Schumer went off the rails by threatening two sitting Supreme Court Justices because he believes they will vote against an upcoming abortion-rights case. But little attention has been given to the hysterical reaction of two members of The Squad: Rep. Ayanna Pressley and Rep. Rashida Tlaib.
Pressley said that reproductive justice is racial justice.
This is the kind of statement we would expect from the Klan. We would not expect this from a black woman. Blacks, who are 13% of the population, account for 36% of all abortions. Pressley needs to explain why this is an expression of racial justice, and she needs to tell this to a black audience.
Tlaib aimed her remarks at pro-life Americans by repeating one of her standard lines. Yall, yall, you know what? Youre so freakin obsessed with what I decide to do with my body, maybe you shouldnt even want to have sex with me.
Believe me, lady, no one does. I know of no defender of life who wants to sleep with you. And if you dont know the difference between a woman who wants to remove a wart from her toe and a pregnant woman who wants to remove a human being from her body, you need to enroll in Bio 101.
The other Squad members are just as far gone. Here is what they said about abortion last year.
Rep. Ilhan Omar objected to pro-life legislation in the states, saying the bills were only the latest in a long history of efforts to criminalize women for simply existing.
That would mean that pro-life Americans want their mothers imprisoned. Even those in the asylum dont speak such gibberish.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez objected to a pro-life bill in Alabama that the governor pledged to sign. She labeled the bill as an example of patriarchy. The governor is a woman. In the fall, she said that nonbinary people need access to abortion. Problem solved: they dont exist.
This is the mentality of the those who love abortion. There isnt much upstairs to play with, making it impossible to engage them in rational discourse.
oh yeah....KILL THOSE BLACK BABIES, huh PRESLEY???
What a sick woman. (And I use the term woman loosely)
JUSTICE?? Not from the babies point of view.
Since they have KILLED THEIR OWN CHILD, WTH wouldn’t they KILL a STRANGER WHO THEY HATED???
Blacks, who are 13% of the population, account for 36% of all abortions.
And she thinks that’s pro racial justice?
I am more Pro Life at this point than I have been in my life.
The me of 10 years ago would have said that is racial justice for whites because a decent sized percentage of tho kids were gonna be sucking up welfare/snap/free living.
And some would go onto murder/rape/rob white folks.
But we don’t get to murder people based on what they MIGHT turn out to be.
We pray for change and that the black community sees all that Trump can offer them and these kids ARE born and hav FRUITFUL HAPPY lives.
they ARE miserable angry hate filled women...
“CDC: 35% of aborted babies are black”
And blacks are about 13% of the US population. What is she trying to tell us?
Arguments that murder solves poverty are disturbed and they made by disturbed people who are at best immorally stupid and evil.
“Pressley needs to explain why this is an expression of racial justice, and she needs to tell this to a black audience.”
I would be most interested to hear her explanation, and I’m not black. It is hard to see how the good of a race, as a group, is furthered by abortion.
“Ayanna Pressley is the Curly Joe of The Squad.”
HAHA! Sorry, but that is true!
“”There isnt much upstairs to play with, making it impossible to engage them in rational discourse.””
The sooner we could accept that, the better off we’d all be as we’re reasonable people and we just can’t understand anyone behaving the way these people do. We have to chalk it up to they’re just plain idiots and let it go at that. I’m speaking for myself - I have to stop being disturbed by the asinine things they say!! I just have to!!!!!
And blacks are about 13% of the US population. What is she trying to tell us?
What she meant to say was not that the grossly disproportionate of aborted black children is racial justice. She meant to say that it is a crime fighting effort.
Oh, wait. That does not work very well either. I'll get back to you....
Absurd and offensive. First of all, you make no distinction between pro-life women and female abortion enthusiasts, which is unforgivable moral obtuseness on your part.
Second, it wasn't a female President, a female Congress nor even the female electorate that legalized criminal abortion in America. It was presumptuous MEN in black gowns who thought they were creators, not followers, of law and justice.
Were these Mighty Males guilty of playing God? I would rather say, guilty of failure to play human.
She’s garbage.
I will stand with what I stated. There hasn’t been a single woman who has run for President since roe vs wade who has not supported abortion. Hillary Clinton became the first woman nominated for president and we know where she stands.
Further Roe vs Wade would have never made it to the Supreme Court, not ever, had the American women not wanted it...or men for that matter........”We the People” had the abortion issue on our table long before it was the Governments...and the silence proved deadly.
Dr. Bernard Nathanson, in his memoirs about the push for abortion (he was pro-abortion at the time, but afterwards turned prolife) says that the feminist orgnizations at the time were NOT on board.
NOW (Betty Friedan and Pauli Murray) thought it was too radical and would discredit the equal-rights aspect of their work. The NOW Statement of Purpose (1966) and "Bill of Right for Women" adopted at their 1967 national conference, were centered on the Equal Rights Amendment, and no mention of abortion!!
Legalization was NOT surging through the legislatures in the late-60'sand early-70's-- creeping at best, and in some states being turned back ---in the states, and the pro-abort forces knew there was no way they could get a popular mandate for it through the normal political process.
That's why Bill Baird, Bernard Nathanson and Larry Lader --- with the handful of feminist allies they recruited, like Sarah Weddington --- went for a Supreme Court diktat --- because it was not at the time a women's priority at all.
Read the history. It's absolutely stunning.
