True, but... these efforts may buy some time, just like stopping flights. It doesn’t stop the virus but more time means more time to work on therapeutics.
Also, slowing the spread is better for our healthcare systems.
Warm weather will stop this thing before a vaccine is ready, most likely—so in Texas it should die on its own fairly quickly—but the next month will not be pretty....

Placer county is an hour away from me in the California Motherlode country. Not happy about this.

Just got hit with another cancellation. Seems this is the evening that companies are looking at travel and conferences. That’s two big bookings so far...ouchies!
