Los Angeles County will hold a press conference at 8:30 a.m. PT to make what they’re calling “major announcements” about coronavirus. They’ll outline actions they’re taking and advice to the public.
Oh boy...
Did not see any panic here. I was thinking since NC and Ga had cases there might be panic... None at all SC is doing good. I think everybody that is going to prepare, did it slowly.
I believe our Hospital system is ready. Word is out on washing hands, and stay home if you are sick.
What is the follow up on this, was it real?
I dont know
Amazon employee in Seattle has tested positive for illness caused by coronavirus

Other employees working in close contact with the affected employee defined as closer than 6 feet for a prolonged period of time have been notified, the message said.

“death rate at 3.4 percent “ of KNOWN cases. Which no one seems to want to know.
All they can give us now is CFR- death rate of those who are known.
Interesting. Wondering if the American College of Physicians conference will still take place there in late April. I really don’t want to fly in to LAX.
- Caixin China PMI Composite (Feb): 27.5 (prev 51.9)
- Caixin China PMI Services (Feb): 26.5 (est 48, prev 51.8)
3.4 percent is high, I expect it to come down as they do more testing. They have to account for the young folks who never get sick. But that it is high for just people record being infected.
The average flu each year has people who were never tested. I had the flu this year and was not official tested.
I always buy their no salt veggies. Black beans, kidney beans and chili beans, too.
Oh, I’ve canned meat. 1 quart jars, 90 minutes at 15lbs (at sea level) and you can pretty much can anything. No rice or pasta because it expands and would turn to mush anyway. Make sure your headspace is good. Comes out looking not all that yummy looking at it through glass but it’s decent. Like anything canned, including cans you buy at the store, half or more of the nutrients end up in the liquid.
sounds like those two are travel related (Orange county)
here is another one
