Aleksandra Sadowska from the city of Wroclaw in the west of Poland had gone to the tattooist after deciding she wanted to emulate a rap artist called Popek, who also had the whites of his eyes dyed black.
The bungled procedure left the 25-year-old model complaining of pains in her eyes which the tattooist is reported to have said was normal and could be treated with painkillers.
Based in the Polish capital Warsaw, the tattoo artist named in local media as Piotr A., is facing three years in prison for unintentionally severely disabling the woman.

yes she was..but she’s unfortunately mental and often happens to young gals today focused on their appearence. Too many young kids seeking to set themselves apart from the pack and be noticed can and will go to extremes.
In her field of ‘modeling extremes’ it’s not surprising she continued to add those changes. Unfortunately she blinded herself doing so.

My father has a small skull and crossbones on his arm that he got in Korea during the war. I asked him one day why he just had that one Tatoo. He said his higher up (air force) took everyone to the Tatoo parlor and they were going to get a tatoo and he was paying for it.
So he found the smallest one in the book and got that one.
I understand the reason why people may want to get tatoos, but I’ve never seen a reason that was actually “long term” valid. People love to make fun of people’s tatoos, once the newness has worn off.
And even tatoos to “memorialize” other people are not something I’d ever do. You can get a photo and put it on the wall, for crying out loud. Or get the vinyl lettering for your back window of your car. Permanently marking our skin seems dumber, the older you get.
And yeas, I know a lot of people (and a couple of my kids) that have tatoos.
I avoid using “tramp stamp” with them, though.

Tattoo your eyeballs OR get some black contact lenses. She chose poorly.
Searching a bit more on this story, it appears the pool or sauna was indoors. There was no place for the CO2 to dissipate.
Everybody will see just how stupid she was, except her and of course other blind people.

No, we all knew not to tattoo our scleras black. No sympathy at all.
